Galaxy is also a solved franchise. 2 was just leftovers from 1. A 3 would not be anything special. Only 3D Mario that can make use of a sequel (A real sequel not a successor) is Sunshine and Odyssey. FLUDD can be further explored without being a rushed janky 2nd year GC game for the holidays and Odyssey... Well, it could stand to be a bit more focused and challenging, with looser mechanics.
