Days Gone has the best graphics ever

Sony does it once again, every year they raise the standards.
Why can't multiplatform games look as good this?

Im guessing thats a photo mode though...

photomode doesnt improve visuals, it just lets you change angles

This game is dope as fuck, haters are fucking retarded

Wew, and Spider-man can't even have puddles.

It's the most stable and good looking open world UE4 game I've played so far, but then again it's competition is fucking ARK and Pubg.

Photo mode always improves visuals.

it does
too bad its a bugfest with shit performance

It's just generic farcry with zombies.

Photomode in video games usually do improve visuals because they also usually freeze the game and apply every effect perfectly like AA, lighting, and even minor effects like AO.

That said nothing will top The Hunter: Call of the Wild for best visuals

That looks terrible.

looks like some shitty ps1 game

Fuck off, TrannyEra.

No it doesn't and you'll NEVER prove it.
>inb4 they post the Uncharted 4 comparison with sharpening put to 100%

holy blur

>le megascans cheap asset face

Nice 30fps, framelet.

But is the gameplay actually good?

um, no sweetie
that would be DCS

>year 0 + 2019 of our lord
>Sony still can't into round wheels

Apart from that it seems Days Gone has the same problem as AssCreed Unity where there is no shadows apart from the pre-baked environment shadows. I mean fuck sake even super mario 3d had at least a blob under him whilst here the MC has what appears to be SSAO instead of an actual shadow.

>the no sequel

game looks good but looks too soft to be considered the top dog in graphics

Pretty sure its super intense fxaa and subsequent blue same as rdr2

For one thing, it's a JPG.
If it was PNG it'd be a higher quality screenshot at over 4MB.

It looks great in motion and the world is much larger to boot. Incredibly dense foliage. So yeah you gotta see it moving or else it looks like mesh.

photomode in UC4 had frame drops when it was normally a decently smooth 30fps. now, why would the FPS go down if it wasn't increasing the graphics?

too much dithering in the foliage.

Sweet gonna shill my supple ass in here
I call this one niggas trying to get up in the club

night hunting :DDD

Because it has to literally pause every effect and particle to create a perfect still and be ready to restart from where it left off on the spot?

Super Smash Bros does in every game since Melee

NIGHT KINO

>nothing happening
>AI paused
>no need to render more effects
>no need to have characters moving around
>should be less of a load on the CPU/GPU
>frames still drop
hmmm interesting

AA is clearly better in photo mode

Attached: theHunter Call of the Wild Screenshot 2019.04.28 - 16.42.46.23.png (1920x1080, 3.5M)

>should be less of a load on the CPU/GPU
Except all the culling and offscreen shenanigans they pull to maximize framerate aren't there, so where you are and what you can see has to be rendered completely
Plus, not every game drops frames in photo mode and even if they do it's not in every zone
