TAA and FXAA are garbage, SMAA and MSAA are kino.

SMAA looks the best of the AA options there.

I prefer none. And if I want to blur the image I can do that in the monitor's settings.

seems to make some games run better if set to the lower settings. that's about all my thoughts on it desu.

TAA is actually very hard to implement correctly and requires significant effort by game developers. Try warframe for an actually decent looking TAA.
FXAA can work fine with smooth, photorealistic images, but if applied to UI or cell-shading-style graphics it makes everything look worse.

Isn't SMAA just FXAA but less shit? Still not a very effective AA.

It's a post-process AA so in that sense it's similar but the algorithm is way better.

already gave them last time this thread was made; don't have any moire.

2x and 4x are fine for 1440p if you're playing old games or some source engine game you can crank it to 8x without any problems

It kneecapped the overall visual fidelity of RDR2 on PS4. The game would have looked a bit better if they reduced it or disabled it completely as it looks way to soft otherwise.
