Realistically speaking, why would they choose to leave out the fastest selling console of all time? It has a great retention rate, hardware comparable to its competitors and an audience with a true appreciation for JRPGs.

They don't give a single fuck about Switchtards, that's why. They only allowed Arena to be ported to the 360 because of Arc Systems, Q and Q2 to the 3DS because of the Etrian Odyssey team and Scramvle because of Tecmo.
