Not OP but Vacation has 16 elements, while Starsign only has 5 (and 6 main characters). I haven't finished the first one however I think the second does a better job with the fights and the way elements work, you can use them outside of battles at certain points in the story. Also it has no spirits but if you can get extra characters connecting to other players.
There's also a planet system that boosts elements at times, and you get to control it at some point.

This was literally released In a time people were crying to Nintendo that the console didn't had enough jrpgs.
So someone just capped this out of their asses to carve the niche for themselves. Didn't work because the game itself is a huge piece of shit.

It's just a bunch of usless characters that do nothing and become useless in fights around 25% in, so I don't think it matters.
There are supposed to be 30 of a collectible, but only 29 in the game though. Since no one knows this game there is no info anywhere about if it was a mistake or on purpose.

Everybody remembers and loves Lufia 2 on SNES but I have a soft spot for Lufia 3 on GBC if only because it was my introduction to traditional JRPGs. Had great music too,
I know lots of people hated the remake on DS but I liked that game too, even if it was kind of half assed towards the end
