Wait for Classic WoW or Pantheon. Any other choice will ruin your experience.

Pretty much yes.
No
After like 2-3 weeks of OSRS, you can get barrows gloves, fighter torso, imbued items etc & be in a decent place
Then hop into Classic WoW when it comes out too
Ignore Runescape 3 though, that game ended with The World Wakes as far as im concerned, literally moved to a new age & ended the game
(OS)RS is just such an boring game, it has nothing but grinding in it.
wait for classic wow
New MMO being developed by the makers of Everquest. They want to bring back the social elements of MMORPG into the modern era. No dungeon finder, fast travel, forced class balance where everyone is a hybrid and so on.
So this video popped up my recommendation

are any of the MMOs listed worth checking out
Nope. His description is correct.
>2020 looks like it's going to be muuuuuch better for new and upcoming mmorpgs than 2019 is - so use 2019 to get reacquainted with the games already released.
In Runescape's case, yes. RS3's remaining playerbase is so skewed towards the top that nearly every area is a ghost town. OSRS is nothing but a grindfest that everyone bots anyway
Came back to Archeage 3 weeks ago and I'm really enjoying it
Are the F2P Everquest releases on steam any good?
Everquest is a shadow of its former self now, if you want to play EQ1 play P99 or some of the official classic servers. EQ2 looks like an interesting game but I never got into it.
OSRS is the only good MMO until Classic WoW
