you can do either, it really doesn't matter unless you intend to be cutting edge on the market or in raids.

If you wait til shadowbringers drops you only have to buy the starter edition + preorder shadowbringers instead of double dipping into stormblood.

If you wait two months you'll save money as you get Stormblood free then, but you'll still have 200-ish hours to catch up.

I'm not even sure what he wanted at that point. He was kind of rambling crazylike after the boss fight. At some point I get he wanted to free Ala Mhigo from the empire, but now he talks about punishment and doing a new Calamity.

His goal was to summon a worse dragon god his inspiration was actually Midgardsormr than Bahamut so he could make the Empire experience the horror of the Calamity themselves. The second plan was that even if his primal failed, the false flag would force Eorzea into a war and the Warrior of Light would be forced to liberate Ala Mhigo.

so how many new dungeons are we getting in 5.0? I hate them so I hope as few as possible

What are you talking about? Tank is the best way to level in eureka with NM train as you don't die that easily from accidental aoes or wild mobs. You can travel most the map without being one-shot also.

Lolorito's biggest interest is in keeping Ul'dah free from Garlemald. He even financed WoL's entire campaign in Stormblood. He technically does profit from sales to Garlemald through proxy offices in Thavnair and Kugane, but that's just the nature of doing business in those countries.

Varis had been trying to pull back on the Eorzean front to focus on the war of succession and stabilizing outer regions like Doma and Ala Mhigo. What's actually funny about Stormblood is that they tell you that Varis had ordered Zenos not to move on Eorzea even after the false flag. He was just hoping the alliance would move into Ala Mhigo on their own so he could slaughter them, and they did.

stormbite (bloodletter, raging strikes), venomous bite (minuet, battle voice), straight shot (empirean arrow), iron jaws, heavy shot, heavy shot (sidewinder), heavy shot, heavy shot (barrage, empirean arrow)
use foe requiem + refresh on prepull and replace one of the first three heavy shots with barrage + refulgent arrow if you get a proc

the only problem I have with that is how long the loading screens stretch because the game absolutely has to load EVERY single player in the area before you load in. I don't know if it's an engine limitation but it makes a massive difference.

Or you can invest in a quality SATA 3 SSD/NVME drive. Loading into Leviathan limsa where I hit the character display limit instantly takes only 4 seconds for me.

I really hate how skills work in this game, I'm talking about when you go back to like mid 50s dungeon on a roulette and don't have your full rotation, or even the whole HW rotation.
Like what the fuck is the point of learning to play the class wrong for 15 minutes?
It even ties a little bit to the "too many skills" thing, no there's not. But it's just a mess because you've set up your skills in the hotbar like they're at 70, but can't use half of them in earlier content.
PLD for me is just muscle memory, I just zone out when playing, and accidentally try to use the damage rotation in the Aery and then sit there like "wait I don't have it at this level, seriously?". There's of course better examples, worse jobs to have that kind of brainfart on; like BLM where you lose all progress, but it's the same problem.

Not if you scaled down everything for high level players so they would have to use those skills (Fire II useless, Fire IV only a little more powerful than II now). And kept the same potency as is for low level players.
It would essentially work with about the same logic traits work, which change skills according to level, only the level check wouldn't be current scaled dungeon level but has the player achieved level 60 and 70.

well, i play on tonberry and i also speak enough japanese to get by in japanese pugs. i think the reason they are successful in pugs is an absurd level of organization, mostly by making macros to assign mechanics ahead of time. some of these macros are absolute works of art, my friend posted one for UCOB that goes on for like 95 lines and you have to post it with 6 individual macros

they do a lot of shit that frustrates me, too. too polite to call out an obvious slacking player is one thing. but the 3 wipes = disband no matter what policy is infuriating. you can wipe 3 times at 0.1% with 2 deaths and they'll disband

part of success in static raiding is discipline and organization, this is where the japanese are better. i do think "all star players" with nutty parses & excellent mechanical skill are more common in NA, at least in my experience (having also raided on NA for years), but i prefer JP where it's easy to find an absolutely solid squad of clear-worthy players to pug with
