Start and end every workout session with a mile on the treadmill. Run it if you can, walk if you have to. Do it at your pace, just get it done. Take Sunday off to recover.

As for the actual routine Just look up some online, user. There's plenty to follow. Just find one you like and stick to it, no matter what.

drink nothing but tea and water. (NO SODA!!) home cook all of your meals. when you are less of a disgusting fat blob start doing push ups every day. this should be enough to bring you down to a healthy weight.

I lost 40lbs by fasting. 2 days without eating, 1 day with eating. Do it for a while and you'll lose mad weight.

Walk a fuck load and eat 1500 calories a day.

What's a good, cheap, diet? I was thinking of just buying a bag of chicken breasts and eating that all the time, with oranges apples and goldfish crackers.

No soda ever. Plenty of water, limit your non-water drink to once a day. Eat 1300-1600 calories a day. Start by walking a mile, then as you progress start running for part of that, treadmills are good for measuring your progress so you might run the first quarter mile then walk until half a mile, then run the next quarter mile, etc. as you improve you'll eventually be able to run a mile
as for weights go on /fit/ and read the sticky. A good recommend is starting strength by rippetoe but there are plenty of good guides for starting weight training. Don't be afraid to use freeweights just look up proper form online so you don't hurt yourself. if something starts to really hurt then stop, don't push yourself to the point of injury.

If you think it is hard to start, try to replace other forms of transportation with walking. While the effects are minor compared to other kinds of exercise, it has the benefit of being ridiculously easy.
Steadily increase the amount you walk, and you can shift to more serious stuff when you feel it doesn't do it for you anymore.

Also stop eating garbage.

Your body burns fat evenly. Even if you focus on a certain area. In order to truly lose weight, you have to eat just enough food to maintain you. McDonald's and Soda have to go.

Coming from someone whose in the exact same position, dont worry about that. Planet Fitness might get memed on a lot but it's pretty decent on it's no intimidation policy. Just go there and get a feel for the place. It's a little scary at first but you get used to it.

Literally unironically went from 280 to 180 like you're trying to do. I went on 2 or so hour walks at first, then alternated between walking and running later. I lifted weights for about 20 minutes a day in my room started with 8lbs then moved up. If I was ever just laying on my bed doing nothing I would do situps or pushups. As for diet I still kind of ate like shit but I quit drinking soda, water only and I avoided sugary shit even when I was a fatass. I never felt the need to join a gym, although now i'm considering it to build up muscle.

Not guaranteed to work out for you like it did for me but I was exactly where you're at so I hope it helps.
