Zelda

I can not beat him. first half is no problem, but he moves too fast and my camera keeps moving around and i cant lock onto him fast enough.

Advice, tips?

Parry him bro

>emulating at 1080p
what's the fucking point, just play it on Wii U

Why do I only get 20 fps when I emulate this. I have a 1660.

im playing on switch.

i am dodging and using flurry strike, but when hes electrified and swings 5 times my camera is swinging around trying to lock on to him

>Why do I only get 20 fps when I emulate this. I have a 1660.

Because trying to emulate anything after the 16-bit era is a mess of shit. PCbros pretend they get 120fps 8K though.

that laser is what gets me.

CEMU needs fast CPU and memory, GPU barely matters at all.

Fug

It depends on the amount of Hearts you have and the strength of the armor you're wearing as well if you ask me
Like I only died to it because I neglected to realize I was wearing the Gerudo disguise which has absolute shit defense and can't be upgraded

7 hearts. 24 armor. and im using the Edge of Duality. I just got to the second half again.
I can do the first half in damn near a minute, but that laser fucks me up every time

OP here finally did it.

that was a pain

Did you fight it as your first/second boss? That might also be why it was hard

Now do it again but with a drifting right joycon for extra fun!

What a nightmare.

it was my third beast, but i took a long break from playing so im just now getting back into it.

FUCK mine drifts downward. that was a big factor in why the fight was so damn hard. Im glad im not the only one that struggled because of faulty hardware.

Joycons are cheap pieces of shit. China quality. Nintendo doesn't get enough flak for how bad they are.

You should do some shrines to up your Heart Containers then, especially if you want the Master Sword

no, chinese joysticks are pieces of shit. Back when everything was made in japan it was top quality. But nintendo has always had good quality stuff. My original gamecube controller still holds up after all these years, despite being made in china. You cant break them. Nowadays since the Wii everything is made of junk, even these pro controllers feel cheap.

I cant even remember how to get the master sword, im gonna have to look up a guide for it. but i do plan on getting a few more hearts.

uhh botw isnt even a hard game. You can literally just pick tens of hearty radishes by a stable and have infinite full heals by cooking a single one off

You just need 13 Hearts and it's in the Korok Forest near the middle of the map

Did you pick up the metal spike and put it near him when he casts the thunder attack? it will shock him and you can use the time to get in some hits.

If you really want a smooth Cemu experience you should think about improving your CPU and expanding your RAM. 20 FPS might be because of shitty RAM or shitty CPU.

I have 16 gb ram but a budget cpu

Is there actually another way to beat him?
I couldn't figure out another way besides using the spike.

Couldnt even him him otherwise.

>budget cpu
there's your problem then, you need a fast CPU. High single core performance is key when emulating, since emulators can't really take full advantage of multithreading

Apeople give them a big unfair pass on low quality hardware because their past stuff was so solid I have a broken zr button myself.

Seriously, it's actually kind of baffling how badly made some aspects of the joycons are
The shoulder buttons are pretty bad, L and R leave a lot to be desired and wear out quickly but ZL and ZR are irredeemable garbage, they feel like something you'd find on a dollar store toy, they're the worst kind of clicky with no play where it matters and the feedback they give makes my fingers numb, the switch on them sometimes doesn't even activate when they click, easily worst buttons of the century, I didn't think it was possible to make a button so awful

the motion controls are also pretty bad, you'd think that nintendo would know what they're doing after the wii/U but somehow they took a step back with the joycons

how do you beat waterblight phase 2 without arrows?

stasis

use cryonis to smash 4 of his ice cubes and then use stasis on the last one to send it back to him. If done right he'll drop down for you to hack away.

Don't forget they decided amibo shit was more important than being able to point at the screen, we will never get any light gun games for switch.

Or you could just stop the first one and hit it while the others crash into it.

Aight mother fucker listen up imma bout to teach you how to fuck this boss over real easy.

First off go get the rubber armor set au.ign.com/wikis/the-legend-of-zelda-breath-of-the-wild/Rubber_Armor also go stock up on shock resistance, load up on guardian gear, etc. If you have amiibos start harvesting them and doing the timezone glitch until you are stocked up on shit you can sell to get guardian/ancient gear. Get the master sword too.

Phase 1: fast moving
Dodge/flurry where possible, learn the timing and demolish him. EZPZ.

Phase 2: Lightning from the sky
Before this fucking phase starts switch your rune to magnesis, put away any metal weapons you have. When he summons lightning rods from the sky move around keeping him in your sight and find a space wide enough where you can pick up one peg and be out of range with the rest. Use magnesis to put it in his face so he zaps himself. Then get your gear out and beat the nigger to death. Avoid his attacks, spam arrows, ggez.

what this nigger said , though if ur fast you dont need statis you can just fucking demolish him by running fast.

quit hamfisting your joycons then you fucking spastics, of course they feel cheap because they arent designed to be gripped with the force of a thousands suns, the triggers arent meant to be slammed down by your edgy trigger fingers. If you want a robust controller that will last forever get a pro controller, leave the joycons for your friends when they come over....

... you do have friends, right? That's why you bought extra joycons.... right?

just spam food, and get decent armor
Difficulty flies out the window and you can tank infinite hits for no downside

uncheck fps++
you have to fight the second half of the fight at 30fps otherwise the physics is all fucked up
