Haven't Atlus made it clear at this point, after years of pulling this shit? Game comes out on (x) platform/brand, it stays on (x)platform/brand. The overwhelming majority of Atlus series are exclusive to the platforms/brand they were first released on. Same applies here, mainline Persona games are Playstation and SMT is Nintendo.

An outlier, it's the one and only mainline SMT to be released without a Nintendo version. It was also made back when Atlus made a SMT spin off for the fucking Xbox, so one can only wonder what the fuck they were smoking.

Switchlets can forget about P5 on their console, but if P5S sells well and Joker is a popular character in Smash, it's highly likely that P6 will be a multiplat. They're literally testing the water / angling for new customers right now.

This was only the case when the PS2 was the defacfo console. It's hard to ignore the PC market and the Xbox nowadays.

I count on Persona to make a debut on Xbox, because Microsoft has done a lot of background talks with jap developers and Atlus isn't in bad terms with them and never was, and on Steam, because that's where everything ends up going once exclusivity contracts expire.

This plus Futaba's Palace being reduced from 30 days wait to 14 days. This bumps up Haru's Palace, bumps up the rest of the end game too. The pacing really becomes a core issue in the summer.

You make it sound like I don't want Persona 5 to come out on other platforms. I want to, on PC especially, which is where I play games, I'm just fucking stating what Atlus has been doing for well over a decade, games that are exclusive to brands/platforms.

I find it hard to believe that Atlus would do such a thing as port Persona 5 to anything that isn't a Sony machine because that's how they've been releasing their mainline Persona games since 2. Persona 1 is the ONLY game in the series to ever come out to PC, and it was a japan only release.
