I don't get it, according to dictionary being ironic is conveying the opposite meaning of what one says in a subtle manner (similar to sarcasm but not with an cruel intent nessesarily). So by definition being unironic is simple doing or saying things for their intended purpose, the only way I can think this making sense is in a context where you are expected to be ironic and you have to declare you are not being ironic.

Guy I used to watch play on occasion, not because he was good at the game, but because he was a fucking awesome person. The guy read Russian stories, performed aerobatic feats, blew fire on stream and was just generally nice to be around. He worked as a part of a traveling circus. Made decent cash too. Had a beautiful wife and not much of a following. Offered to play with everyone and the like. Told him I was fat and he wrote a four page document telling me how I can exercise with everything I told him I had access too and wanted a monthly progress report.
I lost 110lbs in the first year. He mailed shit to my house when I lived in a different country.
And I never fucking gave him a cent.
