I don't want to remember.
Dino crisis
Could Power Stone be revived please?
Make a Capcom Fighting Allstars game with the gameplay of UMvC3
A bunch, but I agree with this guy , Breath of Fire would be cool, if at least to shake things up a little. Aside from REmake2, all their recent games so far have been action oriented, a Turn Based JRPG with the production values of their newst games would be cool as fuck.
My fear, however, would be that they wouldn't be able to properly translate Yoshikawa's artwork into 3D, even though the technology is there and they have shown they can do it with titles like Megaman 11 and Ace Attorney for the 3DS.

Street Fighter
>fightan dosent money so no
>Viewtiful Joe
>Ghosts and Goblins (not just another remake of the original, maybe make it a 3D action platformer)
>Dino Crisis
>Rival Schools
Even just one of the above would be great.
Demons crest, don’t care, I just want more
>make it a 3D action platformer
They already did with maximo though
That’s snk
This.
Fuck Marvel.
Fuck SNK.
Fuck Tatsunoko.
Fuck Sega.
Just make a Capcom Fighter and you're fucking gold. Nobody cares about Street Fighter anyways, so just cannibalize the few actually good characters for a crossover.
Come on, dude.
>Smash
>Fighting game
>RE2
>DmC5
>MHW
Only one of these games are good. I have zero trust in any game they're gonna put out.
this one would be really well-received with the current trend of making modern games feel more like older games (with dark souls, nudoom, etc all touching the old feeling)
Make a game where you run around killing dinosaurs and play it up. What could go wrong?
"Remember Me", because we have a bunch of dykes and numales on Yea Forums who worship that game for some reason. Probably refugees from other shithole boards.
it is, sweaty
Demon's Crest
>The passion and the prowess to compete globablly
I'll always find it funny, and a bit sad, that throughout most of last gen Capcom had all this talent just lying around, but refused to use it beacuse they still believed in Inafune's idea that they had to follow western trends to be successful.
I'm so glad he's gone and his influence is finally over.
Smash is a party game
Say it with me three times just so we're sure you got it.

At least remakes, with all of the Mahvel wanking by normalfags, it's the perfect time to capitalise on capeshit vidya
>That brief period it was going to be a core franchise to the point of getting a party game spin-off
Not really. Not a real one.
It's been enough years that Final Fight could make a return without Streetwise dragging it back down.
But FUCKING DARKSTALKERS.
And it was fucking great.
Battle Network games. Id be fine with a remake or a completely new setting, while keeping the core fighting system and hopefully something like 2.5D. Wasnt really a fan of star forces 3D system
Didn't Brawl sold, like, 14~15 million units?
He said fighting game you mouth breathing faggot.
They didn't really 'believe' in his idea, but they couldn't tell him no.
Man Red Hot Rumble was hot garbage. From that ugly era when every game dev wanted to rip off Smash Bros but decided to throw away every good mechanic and make a total mess instead.
fucking MINIGAME ORBS what the hell
>What could go wrong?
a lot
dino crisis 3 happened
That reminds me. I bought that game new from the bargain bin for $2, but I never played it. Is it any good?
IMO Street Fighter could make these numbers if they advertised it right.
The problem is that they don't advertise it correctly and don't focus on the fun aspects of the game. They focus on the fucking competitive aspect, and most people who play the game don't care about that. The majority of people who pick up street fighter never leave single player.
Onimusha
They need to fix their god damn fighting games division first, everyone excepts a new SF and Vs. game from them soon, but I bet other fighters would go over well too.
I'd accept this though.
It can't be a bad game just by virtue of Sprocket existing.
You're assuming every fightin game have the colossal brand recognition of Smash Bros and Nintendo's Characters/IPs, on top of characters from other companies.
Literally no other fighting game on the planet sells like Smash Bros, even Mortal Kombat.
Artistic direction is good, the actual game is not.
It has a 10/10 ass but 2/10 gameplay. It's a glorified walking simulator with some cutscene takedown sections.
>tfw you realize capcom is back
She's a poor man's C. Viper.
That's SNK and Metal Slug 8 is already confirmed.
Yeah so why not do it again and have it actually star Sir Arthur?
God Hand never
>Grigori
Hyped as fuck boys.
I mean, that's fair. I also never got to know how bad RHR was because the copy I bought was just broken, but if it was trash kinda glad I dodged a bullet.
Onimusha 2
Power Stone duh
Why is Capcom sitting on a Capcom All-Stars game, seeing that Smash Bros. is literally killing it with sales? Are they dumb, or traumatized after shitting up the MvC series?
Smash is more complex in regards to fighting game mechanics than Evil Zone, Destrega, and Psychic Force, all 3 of which are fighting games.
Not saying that Smash is a fighting game, but if these games are, then what makes Smash are not?
Smash Bros is a fighting game. This cannot be disputed. This is a very broad label, partially thanks to Smash Bros itself, and similar titles pushing the boundaries. To compare it to Street Fighter or it's similes though is fucking retarded.
Of course Smash is gonna sell like fucking hotcakes. It's a casual game with a near nonexistent barrier to entry, specifically made so that everyone and anyone can play it. Furthermore, it has mass appeal and recognition due to its massive roster and superb presentation. More purist arcade fighters like Street Fighter or Mahvel are very niche products, however, especially because of their high skill floor and demand for heavy execution.
Smash games make money. Fuck, Slap City made a lot of money, way exceeded any expecations of the literally who developer.
Street Fighter has stopped making money. Marvel vs Capcom has stopped making money. Mortal Kombat is only a flash in a hot pan due to its story mode and Fatalities. Dragon Ball FighterZ saw more success because it was goddamn Dragon Ball.
>Passion and the Compete Globaly
Lost Planet.
Make a fourth one, that's a combination of Lost Planet 1 and 2. Where it has a singleplayer component like the first, but improved, expanded, and polished up, and an unlockable game mode that's just LP2's MonHun with guns shtick, where you have to search and kill a specific monster, with a co-op option with up to four players.
Like Monster Hunter they could keep it going with updates of new creatures and maps, and even make some cross promotion shit where you get to fight MonHun monsters, or get MonHun gear.
That's be expensive as hell though, so probably not a good idea. But seen how much MonHun World exploded in success, it's not farfetched to say that with the right amount of marketing it could be a huge success.
>Smash Bros is a fighting game. This cannot be disputed
Okay lets' talk about some great fighting game staples
-Platforming
-Flying
-Items
-Multiple lives per round
-'Recovery' moves
-Eight players at once
-Summoning other characters to fight for you
-Stage Hazards
-Summoning Stage Hazards
-Teleporting stage hazards
Smash isn't a fighter. At best it's a competitive platformer.
The only fighting game I can think of which has even a couple of those things is Power Stone. Even Power Stone doesn't have platforming as a feature.
>Smash games make money. Fuck, Slap City made a lot of money, way exceeded any expecations of the literally who developer.
Because of aforementioned features, not because of the aspects they share with fighting games. You can never go online in Smash and enjoy a really competent platformer. At some point you're expected to go online in street fighter.
>DMC series
>Stable releases of core IP's
Basically confirms that they're already have plans for DMC6 and that thanks to the RE Engine groundwork we'll probably see a new game in 2 years or so with a new director.
Nice.
3D fighting games are still fighting games, even if they don't take place on a 2D game.
Smash's main element is platforming. That's the difference. The point is to disrupt your opponent's platforming.
Final fight or Dino crisis.
None of those things disqualify a game from being a fighter. You can't pretend like only exactly Street Fighter 2 Turbo is a fighting game and nothing else is, even other versions of Street Fighter 2, because they have things or mechanics that SF2T didn't have.
Strider.
And make it a metroidvania again.
>B-b-but platforming
>with a new director.
Hopefully one that knows what it's doing. Would hate for Itsuno to leave, only for Capcom to put some shmuck who could ruin everything, like they did with DMC2.
Itsuno will probably have a supervisor role like he did on DmC, he said that he wants DMC5 to be his last personal DMC.
Breath of fucking Fire
>Items
>Flying
>More than 2 players at once
>Stage hazards
Do you even play fighting games? These are not exclusive to smash or smash clones, the rest is inherent to the platform based gameplay which is why many consider smash and similar games to be a subgenre of fighting games
>The Passion and the Compete Globally

Imagine mr. X hunting you down in the police station but this time it's a fucking T-Rex in the jungle
A good fighting game should be next.
ONIMUSHA
Smash is not a real fighting game. But that actually works in it's favor. The one thing people are scared about when it comes to fighting games are combos, and smash is literally just using single moves to knock out an opponent
Vergil DLC
Captain Commando
God Hand
Dragon's Dogma
Street Fighter
>how i forgot about dino crisis jesus
Imagine.
>Regina's the only one startled by the T-Rex
That's some neat attention to detail.
all 3 of those games are fantastic, in DMC5's case it's literally the best game in its genre and of all time
Wow someone who only uses 3 images. Long time since I've seen that.
Probably not popular enough/too recent.
Considering that Onimusha has already received a port, I think that Dino Crisis might be the one.
I wish Capcom would abandon the marvel brand and make a Capcom vs. Capcom game. They have the best roster in gaming, right after Nintendo. It would be amazing.
I wish
With which we return to my original point that sparked this discussion, that traditional fighters don't make money, so a Darkstalkers revival is firmly in the never ever territory.
Our best bet at a fighting game out of Capcom is a Capcom Allstar fighter without any outside partner. With so many people craving an actually good MvC, Darkstalker, Streetfighter etc., they have to realize that that's the best way to satisfy all those demographics with a single release.
Chance is still slim. Capcom has gone on record, stating how they want to focus on their profitable long term IPs. Whenever they mention this, they talk about Megaman, Resident Evil and Devil May Cry. NOT Street Fighter or any other fighter for that matter.
Where the fuck is Tron Bonne
considering how Konami doesn't care about making vidya or even being on the stock market anymore
Konami vs Capcom
2 on 2 fighter, give it a god tier roster.
I think she is scared about the nigger behind her.
I want Capcom to give Street Fighter another shot. I'd love to see the next game either return to sprites or attempt the Guilty Gear Xrd / DBFZ style.
I appreciate the attempt to bring the series into 3D but I've never really liked this style.
SF's main problem is budget. They do not give them enough resources to compete with the likes of MK/Smash in terms of content. Capcom being terrible at communication / sabotaging themselves with bad PR doesn't help either.
Breath of Fire
Darkstalkers
Lost Planet
In that order.
Cadilacs and Dinossaurs
jojo
Darkstalkers, obviously.
POWER STONE
It's capcom, they never keep their word. Less than 10 years ago they were saying that major IPs (RE,DMC,DR,LP,MH) were supposed to have a new game every 2.5 years.
DUNGEONS AND MOTHERFUCKING DRAGONS
literally the world's best beatemup
How was Rival Schools? Is it a good game?
It's way better than other contemporary 3D fighers of its day like Evil Zone and Toshinden but still not great.
POWER STONE
That's more because a massive FUD campaign, incompetent leadership, and propaganda knee capped them and their efforts, constantly changing direction because their shit leadership.
Darkstalkers and Breath of Fire
Unironically if dino crisis 3 came out today and it was made by from software it would be heralded as the best in the series and you just have to git gud to experience the best the game has to offer

this is now how it looks a high elves according to wizards
Only if you combine WiiU and 3dS numbers. Remember, it was on 3dS - which is why they dropped ice climbers (instead of restricting 8-man smash to console)
so like fuck red earth right guys
Brawl is a Wii game dum-dum
>The passion and the compete globally
>Prowess to
What?
MEGAMAN FUCKING X
>le MCU
WotC might own MtG and D&D - but there is no Western Political Correctness in the universe strong enough to stop a Japanese art director with a dream.
>Less than 10 years ago they were saying that major IPs (RE,DMC,DR,LP,MH) were supposed to have a new game every 2.5 years.
That's still the plan, RE Engine is part of their huge investment when it comes to streamlining AAA game development.
With the photorealistic artstyle they have streamlined asset creation by using photoscanning. Meaning that assets can be created and reused more easily. With DMC5 they have now also modified the engine to be able to handle 60 fps Action games.
If you look at REmake2 especially you see that Capcom reused a lot of work from RE7, this is the plan moving forward for both RE and DMC, and probably also Dragon's Dogma.
Source? I need it that game bad
>One more Marvel than Capcom character
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
give an argument HOW wizards doestn going to push bullshit to capcom in the time we live
and yes i already know japan is still using the artstyle and descripcion /how the suppose to look all the race from the first D&D books
I'm blaming this on autocorrect.
They're doing crossover costumes for SFV, other than that it's not relevant enough to be brought back.
New games. At the point Capcom had a division dedicated to making new games, they managed to make Viewtiful Joe, Okami, and God Hand. Some years before they made Onimusha, and Devil May Cry. A little after we got Lost Planet.
The thing that pisses me off the most is you fucking faggots obsessed with the past and getting overly excited for mediocre "return to forms" like DMC5. DMC's entire story is told if you play 1 and 3. 5 is literally just a rehash of both of those. They knew that when they wrote 4 but ended up going back because the amount of autist who only cared about Dante.
Nero should have had his own game and not been bound to DMC in any way. Imagine if DMC was bound to Onimusha because autist.
>DMC5
>Best game in it's genre
You are delusional.
It's astounding how amateurish the UI in this game looks, they didn't even try. Hell, you don't even need to take graphic design lessons and classes to make something more creative than this.
I don't give a shit if elves are black but it literally doesn't have elf ears.
Silent Hill trilogy in the style of RE2 remake
>Capcom
Strider
At this point Capcom would probably make a better Silent Hill than Konami desu senpai.
They just made a game in 2013 didn't they?
Street Fighter
Smash has two Roys
preach brotha. Id love to see a new Dragon's Dogma in the updated RE Engine.
Since Rival Schools and Saturday Night Slam Masters are in the same universe as SF and Final Fight, they should make RS and SM characters as SF5 DLC
I got addicted to BN 1 & 2, so a rerelease of these games, a remake or a new title would be great.
We're in the wrong timeline bro :(
Mega Man Legends 3 GOD DAMNIT FUCK YOU CRAPCOM
In order of precedence/preference:
God Hand
Darkstalkers
Onimusha
Star Gladiator
localized versions of Sengoku Basara
Rival Schools (or just make a few Rival Schools characters as SF5 DLC)
Ghosts n Goblins/Gargoyle's Quest
Gotcha Force
Viewtiful Joe
Dino Crisis
Dragon's Dogma 2 is already all but guaranteed at this point
>Revive a boring running simulator
No thanks
>but, but it get's good after 100 hours of playing!
lol
They made Haunting Ground after all, I wouldnt mind seeing some more psychological horror titles from Cap
Either Marvel vs Capcom or Remember Me.
>dc got revived as cinematic cover shotan
Mixed feeling desu senpai.
The correct answer is ghosts and goblins, but not as a 2.5D rehash to "test" waters like MM11 was. Needs something fresh, but familiar like Maximo spinoffs were.
this capcum make me want to play games again
This honestly isn't a bad idea, it's give you a lot to work with
In progress
Different company, in progress
Onimusha, but back at it's roots
>God Hand
Pointless without clover/platinum and Mikami
>Darkstalkers
Capcom cant make good fighters anymore
>Onimusha
Irrelevant with DMC existing unless they turn it into Japanese dark souls and they're way too late to the party on that
>Star Gladiator
See Darkstalkers
>localized versions of Sengoku Basara
Low effort, but not terrible
>Rival Schools (or just make a few Rival Schools characters as SF5 DLC)
See Darkstalkers and Star Gladiator
>Ghosts n Goblins/Gargoyle's Quest
Possible
>Gotcha Force
Good idea
>Viewtiful Joe
Pointless without clover/platinum and kamiya
>Dino Crisis
Good idea
Ghost Trick, maybe not a sequel, but another investigation puzzle game with a gimmick like it.
Hi Alex
I'd like a new Dino Crisis
Breath of Fire would be great, I miss JRPGs of that quality. The third game was a masterpiece. Megaman Legends is an obvious one and a new entry in the X series would be appreciated too. Never digged classic series much and I thought 11 was sorta boring.
A MMBN like game. It doesn't have to be a sequel. I need a new game like Starforce. I really liked that one as well. Or a collection for switch would be focking great
I know I'm the only one who fucking cares about this game but Final Fight.
>dormant
>literally just ported DD to Switch
>no mention of new IPs
I guess its just sequels and remakes from here on out huh
Viewtiful Joe
God hand
Street Fighter vs Tekken
DmC2
Automatically discounting a new God Hand or Viewtiful Joe because it won't have Mikami's/Kamiya's involvement is like automatically discounting DMC3 because it didn't have Kamiya's involvement and because 2 was a trainwreck.
RIP Slap City
