It's by far the most uncomfortable handheld I've ever used. Wide-grip anything is just trash, it's why I hated the Vita too. The only saving grace is that the Switch's gimmick lets me convert the ass-trash wide-grip to a normal fucking doggo grip.

Of course that doesn't help the crap hardware. The sticks on Switch joycons are bottom barrel garbage through and through. Never seen so much drifting before on a controller. Even the 3DS circlepads were better.

Surely if they made one without Joy Cons then it would break the majority of already released games, since they were made with Joy Cons in mind? You can't just patch them all, that would be ridiculous.

They could change the design of the Joy Cons on a new console, sure, but you would basically still need two separate Joy Cons still, otherwise too many games would be broken and unplayable unless they were ALL patched, which seems unlikely.

They already sell Switches in Japan without the dock.
And they don't give a fuck about "but what about this game that uses joycons!"
Then don't buy the fucking Switch mini if you want to play that game.
It'd still be compatible with joycons and dock, but at that point, why not just get a normal Switch?

The point of Switch mini is for people who just want to use it as handheld only and nothing else. If they want to play only in handheld mode then they shouldn't care about games were joycons are mandatory.

A smaller system means they could have a lower resolution which would in turn allows the system to run at a lower clock speed. Lower clock speed means lower temperatures.
