You ever just think about the thousand of games that are ignored constantly? To never be played or even discussed about because they were just not lucky enough to be noticed.
You ever just think about the thousand of games that are ignored constantly...
>a game that's absolutely perfect for you could be out there somewhere
>you'll probably never play it
Not really, no.
no.
Every game has been played at least once by some person or persons.
See "games only you've played" thread.
Video games aren't people
thats fairly sad until you realize there are millions of people in the exact same situation./
that's why "games only you have played" threads exist
damn...
Sometimes I think about the devs of budget no-name PC games and how they feel about their lives.
Same with any sort of media really. We're all just rolling the die hoping to get that one game that clicks with us on every level
>You ever just think about the thousand of games that are ignored constantly?
My backlog?
Every one of those threads has one or two standouts while every other post is shit like EVO Search For Eden or "I know X has a certain following but I never knew anybody who played it myself"
>tfw you absolutely love a game and barely anyone else played it
Hurts my man
What haunts me more is the fact that I'll never have enough time to play all the games that exist now to completion and that I will die and games will still keep coming out.
Life is so short, yet I want to experience everything that the hobby I love has to offer.
If it were good, people would notice it.
I miss him guys...
I know this feel, also..
>adore a game to hell, barely anyone has played it; the people that have think it is mediocre and/or the worst in the series.
you'll always be #1 in my heart.
No, because I go out of my way to be aware of basically everything of note. Obviously, this is an unrealistic goal, but I do a damn good job of it all the same. It's rare that I miss something truly good. The only exception is foreign-language games, of those, only the ones notable enough to be brought up by English speaking non-native-speakers catch my eye. Thankfully, there aren't many, and the slav bros and weebs have helped me immensely when it comes to that stuff.
lol fuck Tales Of games.
but...
How was that? It looked cute as shit
It was a solid puzzle platformer IMO. Nailed the storybook fairytale tone it set up with its narration, writing, music and such. The gameplay itself has a mostly smooth ramp up of mechanics and puzzle difficulty but never gets exceptionally hard. At about 4 long + another 1 or 2 if you want to go back for the collectables, it's not got a ton of content, but the overall experience is great.
If you watch the trailers and are intrigued, I'd say it's worth the £16. However, I'm a giant emotional sucker for the whole "monster that wants to be loved" story concept.
I'm still a Tales pleb after all these years. Loved Symph, Xillia, Xillia 2 and Berseria but haven't finished Vesp, Graces or Zest yet, let alone anything pre-Symph.
*4 hours long
hey G, would you make me a sandwich?
I still have all my old gaming magazines, which used to have 15-20 game reviews every month, and picking them up nowadays, I'm fascinated by the amount of even well-reviewed games I haven't seen mentioned anywhere but the magazines themselves. I find mid 2000s games especially interesting since gaming had long stopped being a niche interest by then, yet there's still so many forgotten games in that period. I also like reading the announcements and pre-release hype of never-released games, always feels like they had more potential than is possible even today.
Game discussion online, even specifically about obscure games, revolves around a staggeringly small amount of games.
