I’m honestly convinced that people who claim Majora’s Mask is better didn’t actually play it past the opening level & just parrot what E-Celebs tell them. Because all of the dungeons in that game are 10x worse than Jabu Jabu’s Belly & The Water Temple in this game

This. It's a great environmental puzzle that was fucked over by how the equipment system worked in the original. I used to hate the Water Temple but it became one of my favorites when the equipment menu was redone.

Termina is generic as fuck & all of the atmosphere completely dies once you leave Clock Town. The first 3 hours are the best the game ever gets & it’s progressively downhill from there

I first played the game back when I was a kid without knowing about the Water Temple's reputation. I remember getting a bit lost at times, but I still would have called it one of the best dungeons in that game.
