Soul is when the devs seem to actually care about the product they care about and it usually shows with its detail. Soulless is the opposite, its usually a game with the sole purpose is to make investors happy. Take most Ubisoft games for example Far Cry, its just a hollowed out open world with no depth this is classic soulless.

STALKER while a buggy fucking mess is a sandbox type experience you can play, run into some bullshit that shouldn't be happening, and never encounter it again because a new mystery awaits.
