>that one time when they lost months of development because they got their laptop stolen.
I hope they make it so you can refund it when (if) it leaves early access, tried it yesterday because i was bored and basically nothing fucking changed from when I used to play when I was still in school, they just added cars that make the game even more easy.
Jesus christ, I mean the game was fun like five years ago what the fuck have they been doing
The devs support piracy
Delete this!!! They didn't use GitHub or SVN but how could they have known their only backup of code would be stolen from their apartment?! NPCs and animations are coming guys, we just need to wait 1 or 2 more years.
Is this like a factorio scenario, where the dev is just autistic about leaving early access, or are they just badl
Why even play this when CDDA exists?
shittiest "game" ever
It is probably the best zombie survival game out there, but it could be so much better.
>staircases and other objects only rotate one of two ways
>game is 2D isometric but getting a clusterfuck of 3D sprites inserted
>>>Java
Imagine if this game was developed with a 3D engine like Diablo 3 instead of their own attempt at the sims.
>It is probably the best zombie survival game out there, but it could be so much better.
no
What about it makes it a "game"?
Okay, it is the most realistic take on hardcore zombie survival and the devs work hard to get naunces like nutrition, farming, weather, decay, etc. I like how I can actually clear out an area and not worry about zombies respawning. Rather I have to watch out for hordes roaming or making too much noise.
>Okay, it is the most realistic take on hardcore zombie survival
no
Go ahead, I have opened myself to be enlightened by your zombie video game knowledge.
>9 years in development
>no cars
>no npcs
>bearly serviceably multiplayer
I wish I never touched this garbage game
CDDA. It was already mentioned.
They added cars like a year ago, but everything else is still inexcusable.
I am all for classic games, but ASCII-level graphics may be too little for me. Is it really a realistic hardcore survival game (what would happen if you were suddenly in a town of zombies? If so, then I can try and get past the lacking graphics.
Did you ever play PZ and can explain why you don't think it deserves praise for being hardcore survival?
>Did you ever play PZ and can explain why you don't think it deserves praise for being hardcore survival?
I don't think it is necessarily bad It is just that CDDA does everything better than it probably ever could.
The crafting itself is leagues above anything I have ever played.
I haven't played since build 8068. What shitty mechanic have they added since then?
>ASCII-level graphics may be too little for me
CDDA has several tilesets that you can download.
Did they ever add the random NPC survivors doing the same shit as you? I thought that sounded like a really cool feature.
Hey remember when people enjoyed CDDA so much that the dev intentionally nerfed some crafting recipes specifically to make life harder?
