Why does everyone find the Capra Demon so hard? If your weapon was good enough to get past the Gargoyles, you should be able to run over and one-shot the dogs within a few seconds, and then it's easy street. Most overrated boss difficulty-wise in all of gaming.

Why is it doing so little damage? The first time I walked into Capra Demon it flattened me right off the bat and killed me within one second of entering the room.
