Terrible game. It would never survive Steam reviews. Most likely why it's on EGS, the safehaven for terrible games.

Honestly can't tell if people or being ironic or not here anymore. Haze was fucking garbage and was such a huge flop that it killed Free Radical Studios.

Will admit you made me google if they were doing a Haze Remastered

First killed Halo, now kills steam. Who will stop Haze?

Haze was one of the original hype trains that hit a fucking wall on release

same here. Was gonna go moon man the studio for doing haze remaster before someone remaster timesplitters

Not even memeing, ive never heard of that game

change the game at least, this is like the tenth time I see this thread

that game was trash

zoom zoom

Didn't Haze suck ass?

I'm glad it's coming to PC, maybe some autist can make it playable.

>Haze was one of the original hype trains that hit a fucking wall on release
Speaking of the "Halo Killer" hype has there EVER been a game that was advertised as an "X Killer" and actually been good? I remember seeing Halo/WoW killer thrown around so much in the mid 00's but in pretty much every instance the game turned out to be shit.

I'm about to turn 28 and I never heard of it either senpai.

looking it up it doesn't even look like it was that popular of a game.

Killzone maybe? idk

>has there EVER been a game that was advertised as an "X Killer" and actually been good?
no

Whatever they paid to get ps3 shovelware exclusively it was too much

World of Warcraft was an Everquest killer. I'd say it worked

Hope so, fuck steam

This type of exclusivity works for me. If they want to pay people to bring their old games back to life, that's cool by me.

Haze was ps3 exclusive anyway, wasn't it? oh well, doesn't matter.

i'm 26 mate and I remember the hype for it being huge

Advertised as such? No.

But if you’re asking if there are games that copied a successful title’s formula as a cash-in and wound up better than what they ripped off, yes.

Werent the devs the same that made Time Splitters?

>literal shit game gets a remaster

oh wow yeah its over now

people still falling for this lol

lol Haze was terrible. It's big gimmick was that you'd play as a Haze soldier guy, and a resistance person. They had a couple of different abilities which was neat, but playing as a super soldier was way more fun than playing as a resistance soldier. Main thing I remember about the game was that it was supposed to be the "halo killer". Pretty laughable desu, it's nowhere near that level of quality, and the shooting feels like shit. I can only imagine what the shitposting was like here when this dud dropped.

Path of Exile was the Diablo killer and it actually succeeded more than the actual Diablo 3

Was Fortnite ever advertised as a PUBG killer? I want to say it was.

wasn't this one of the games that caused the ps3 to have one of the worst, most memeable console launches in history?

now THIS is EPIC

I am 24 and I have never heard of this game.

You mean this is how people come to pirate most games released solely on Epic.

It was somewhat hyped up but everyone lost interest that played it. The game was a generic shooter revolving around some combat enhancing drug. Everything about it was done poorly.

Killzone 1 was completely garbage and was the original "halo killer". That's where the meme comes from.

>killed Halo
>now it's going to kill Steam
Is there anything Haze can't do?

people like haze? lmao

who the fuck was asking for this trash?

I probably haven't even thought about this game in over a decade, easily. It was complete and utter trash. I fucking pre-ordered it from Gamestop, played a few hours, realized it was NOT the game that It was sold as being and never touched it again.

Fuck Haze.

I think Haze was the last time I actually rode a vidya hype train

man that shit was hyped to the fucking moon

It wasn't my last time, I still bought Brink after I got Haze. Didn't learn my lesson but I haven't pre-ordered a game since Brink.

Its making a comeback

BASED

joke of a game that killed a great studio

why do people keep posting this fake shit

>snoy loses yet ANOTHER exclusive
HAHAHAHAHA FUCK YOU SONYGROS

ALLLLL DAY III DREAM ABOUUUUUT good exclusives

No because when Fortnite was first released they didnt have a Battle Royale. I'm pretty sure It was doing poorly so they decided to add Battle Royale since it was popular at the time and that took off.

>haze
Am I supposed to know this game?

Yeah, Steam sure is fucked from some obscure nothing game being on Epic. F.

Skyrim with guns was kinda that and it was decent
