As a quality Sonic game that hasn't aged, that's called S3K.

That's where the homing attack, though I'm not crazy about it, worked its best. Further, the ability to do damn near anything with the physics was a nice plus.

Not same user, but Gamma's story >>> everything in SA2. I also prefered the spindash and how floaty it could be by jumping afterwards in 1. Knuckles radar in 1 was also much better

The more time passes, the more I love SA2.
I used to feel like it was a massive downgrade compared to SA1 in all but the Sonic/Shadow stages, but now I love the whole package.
Back when the characters weren't just walking memes and reaction faces.

The Adventure games are fucking awful. The only good games are Classic and Mania is the best game in the series.
