Anor Londo...
Anor Londo
Loved that moment when you initially explore tge area, god like game
Dark Souls is memorable, but it's about 50% shit.
home
only Izalith is bad
Big empty horizontal space makes for bad level design in Souls, too much walking space spent doing nothing. Anor Londo has quite a bit of this, but it also has some of the best use of vertical spaces so its a wash.
More like Anal London lmao
Who was toughest for you on your first play through, bros? Smough and Ornstein took me two days on my first. After that I took down Manus in >15 tries
either Four Kings because I could never do enough damage in time or Manus
I clapped.
Put that over ds3 anor londo and it’d work better
at least it was until Gwyn fucked everything up
I love the Four Kings boss fight. An actual DPS race where you're handicapped at one ring only
The gameplay is memorable, but the story is NES tier
>but muh lore ...
Lore is not the same as story, soulsfag
What do they eat?
it's a city of gods so they don't really need to eat
This. Wtf did the game cost $2? Where are the cutscenes?
>only Izalith is bad
Catacombs
Tomb of the Giants
New Londo
Crystal Caves
>Catacombs
ez
>Tomb of the Giants
ok
>New Londo
ez
>Crystal Caves
ez
git gud
nothing wrong with any of those
Only Crystal caves is bad in terms of design but it's just a "boss zone" just like "queelag's domain"
>Tomb of the Giants
>Crystal Caves
These two I kinda understand the dislike of, they are both actually kinda linear and small, their gimmicks aren't that interesting and they mostly reuse enemies from other areas
>Catacombs
>New Londo
These two however I don't understand at all, unique enemies that have interesting mechanics, great level design that emphasize verticality, multiple hidden paths, whats not to like?
Some probably have bad memories from when they first entered the bone zone
God, after playing 2 and 3 beforehand, 1 was fucking painful. Half the game I fucking hated.
