There is no other game quite like it honestly. It has all the tension of a MilSim survival shooter but the joy of a looter shooter like Borderlands (kinda).

There has been a new wave of cheaters since the wipe that can be quite annoying when you run into one. Devs are pretty open about trying to fix that.

It's only major downfall is performance honestly. It really suffers on bigger maps and has tons of stutters. I lose so many gunfights from sighting in and losing 30-40 FPS.

Had a part time job installing PCs at an office today at 8am. Got bored and slinked off when no one was looking. It's a weird cross up of a DRPG and real time combat with survival elements like hunger/stamina, bladder, etc. The combat is basic and weird but it's far from what I'd call bad. If you got a PS4 there's a demo that covers the entire first stage
The story, at least so far, is super good. It far exceeds most of the DR series and especially gets more fucked up in tone than even Ultra Despair Girls as early as Stage 2. Plus, all 8 characters being adults (mentally, they still act 25 even as kids or OLD) really help the cast really feel like they have weight and realistic issues rather than being these quirky high school students. It's a bit hard to describe without spoilers.
Also yeah I like the game a lot so far but it's not $60 good, wait for it to hit $40 or so unless the demo wows you

It can be, the projectors are all digital now so we use our upstairs booth as a break room, I frequently take my 30 minutes on Friday evenings to go up there and watch JoJo while I eat dinner.
Plus I can straight up smoke DUDE outside or hit a flask on the job towards the end of the night (mall itself closes at 9 but they leave the doors open for us) when the customers are just trying to go home and go to bed.

To be honest I've been on the verge of tears for the past two hours. I can't help but think how happy I am that I get to spend my time with all of my online friends, two of whom I've known since I was in middle school...I have a lot of health problems and who knows when I or any one of us will die. So I'm extremely thankful that I am able to live right now and be with people I love. The music choice doesn't help shoo away this feeling.
