PC port has malware DRM Denuvo. SEGA finally ported all the DLC so it's feature complete and has 60FPS compared to 30FPS on consoles. The Switch version of VC4 has framerate drops in the DLC that weren't fixed (and lower image quality elsewhere but thats part of the drop to be expected).

Valkyria Chronicles 4 is literally the best game in the entire series. Especially if you buy all of the DLC. It's just a shame you can't use any of the DLC until after you've beaten the main game. Once you get that far, there is no real need for additional units. The DLC is great for the story/how overpowered the twins/valkyria are.

the reason i wont buy any of the dlc is i end up scout rushing most of them and there no real reason to use the dlc unit since i have already 100% the game. maybe if there was i hard mode i would go for it.

Don't you like fun? Well a fun story at least. The AI is pretty lenient in the DLC episodes. The enemies are positioned in a way where they would always win if the AI was set to the hardest difficulty.

Why must this series be stuck with such shitty gameplay? They completely kill any sort of freedom to experiment or show creativity with brutal punishment so the only way to play the game is scout rush or follow 100% how the mission maker intended the mission to be played.
