Borderlands 1 didn't have this issue, rarity trumped everything so you could hold onto guns for 10 levels most of the time, in BL2, by the time you hit playthrough 2 you're trading up every single level

Just play the game, it's really not that hard, if you're struggling look up some builds for whatever class you're playing

BL2 doesn't become bullshit until you hit UVHM, at which point literally everything has raid boss tier health and everything oneshots you.

It is like a singleplayer MMO

After doing a couple of runs without mods back then, i felt immense happiness when the mod altered the speed of wich the Hyperion Ammo boxes opened

Are you sure you weren't playing 1? Cause I never have accuracy problems in 2 but 1 is a mess when it comes to accuracy with some guns.

That's basically my problem with BL2. I don't remember where I was when I quit, but I remember that no gun I could find did nearly enough damage to actually give me literally any chance in any fucking fight. And I'm not even talking about boss fights. I just mean normal mobs. I was constantly taking fat chance hail mary long shots, then running for cover and waiting for my shield to regen because being in their line of sight for longer than 2 seconds guaranteed I would go down. And there simply wasn't any way for me to do enough damage on my own to count on tanking any damage. I regret this fucking game so much. Would it really have killed them to test difficulty scaling for single player?

Borderlands has always been a mediocre looter shooter, the only reason why Randy gets away with millions of copy sold is because it actually works on launch and isn't completely broken like all the other games in this genre. The last thing that makes it stand out is the use of Cel Shading, making the game itself not too demanding for anons with garbage computers and it doesn't really age badly like other games in the genre would.

Why doesn't a good dev team just make a better loot shooter if borderlands is so mediocre and low effort? Why has almost nobody tried?

The appeal mostly stems from the fact that Iron Man dies, and Cap. America is stuck in the past
