fortnite backwards kinds of looks like thanos lol

>Yea Forums is one person

Why do people shit on leds? I think they look cool. I don't like them in my tower, but I like them on my KB

I don't mind if it changes colors just not that rapidly

I have one rgb light on my video card, does that count?

I wish. I'm a console fag.

just a small orange LED built into my motherboard but that's it. Whats the point? No one comes in my room anyway and I don't need to have a system that looks like snoy put it together

I wish I had the money for this.

I have a windowless S340. Bought an extra back panel from NZXT for like $4 and used it in place of the normally windowed panel.

Not quite. Thinking about getting some lighting strips. I want a system that lets me script my own effects before I fully invest in it.
Because it's a waste of money that doesn't have any productive value.
Then again, so is a dedicated gaming PC. So huh.

Nah but a friend helped me pick out parts and he really likes his glowy blue stuff so I got some of that

>dedicated gaming pc
I mean it is if you just use it for gaming but a buff pc can do all sorts of shit aside gaming. The only limitation is the user being a non creative brainlet.

I have this case and I have a question for those who know better than me. Since I have 2 fans (one's on the back and one's on top ; aka there's none in the front) isn't it better to keep that front panel open for air flow (there's a net there to filter out dust or in my case my cat's fluff) since the 2 I have blow outside or should I keep that front panel attached to the case?

My HDD is making a stupidly loud noise. Do I need to switch to full SSD build or are there some quiet HDD’s I can buy?

You typically want positive pressure in a pc case meaning more airflow being pulled in than sucked out. I would recommend either placing the top fan on the front in your current setup or buying a higher CFM or two and placing them on the front.

Literally me

My point was that people will happily drop hundreds of dollars on components designed to facilitate the unproductive waste of time known as "gaming", then those same people will criticize others for dropping hundreds of dollars on components to facilitate the unproductive waste of time known as "admiring shiny lights".
I actually don't have a problem with either gaming PCs OR RGB lighting, as I am planning a build with some in mind. But I do get irritated by people who condemn RGB users with ferocious vigor while they themselves spend excess money on what is essentially a luxury.

Is there any practical appeal to the glowing lights and see through or is it just aesthetic? I dont know much about PC building because I was a console gamer as a kid and I play on a uni issued computer now.

0/10 not enough RGB lightstrips or RGB thermal paste

>my RGB 32gb Ram
>waste of money

Flaming red LEDs = higher fps

Same
I'd say 250US for 32gb is a perfectly acceptable amount to pay for ram

Gotcha! I knew that would be the case but I was just curious and wanted to make sure. Thank!

>he does not like rgb
Gay.

>he hasn't made his PC into a disco ball that beats to the rhythm of the music it plays
just lighting it up is boring, make sure that you can control them too

No I'm 30 and have never been a pc gamer.

Yes, the Linus Tech Tips video where he builds the white RGB tower with the white coolant that lights up genuinely made me rethink RGB builds for about five minutes, until I looked up the price.
It's still an extremely overpriced meme for what you are getting, and usually not worth it unless you have a lot of disposable income.

You're making the bing-bing wahoo move around on the screen. What does it matter if you have some lights?

>zoomers
>desktop pc

They all have desktops now so they can play pc fortnite like ninja

I have a few LEDs inside but nothing like this full colored rainbow garbage

Nope. Fractal Design Master Race.

Nah. I don't hate on people that do that, but it isn't my style. My mechanical keyboard has LED keys admittedly, but they're just flat colors, and I only got that one cause it was on clearance for like 30 bucks. Really solid too, and while I didn't want the LED, I have to admit they make it a lot easier to see my keyboard at night.

...

I have white leds on my ram and on the NZXT pump head, and whatever small amount of leds on the mobo. That's it. GPU could have it on the radiator fans and the GPU itself, but that was too much.

I would never understand why "gamers" like shiny lights and bright colors so much...

I used to be like you until i found beQuiet

How is it that when the zoomer turns around his shirt mirrors but when I turn mine doesn't?

I have an RGB heatsink so I can get all their benefits at once.

Which case user?
