Bloodborne

Imagine spending several hundreds of dollars for 1-2 games

Bloodborne
TLOU
God of War
Persona 5

Stay mad. I'll play all these great games while you shitpost around

bloodborne is still the only exclusive worth playing on it
I play multiplats on mine, though, because I'm too poor for a PC

>Bloodborne
On PC
>TLOU
Movie, not a game
>God of War
Movie, not a game
>Persona 5
Also on ps3

So 0 zero games eh?

>TLOU
You mean rerelase of a great game on your shitty console with no games?

Bloodborne can only be played on PC with PS Now. The graphics are much worse because of the streaming and the gameplay is harmed by the latency. You also can't play the DLC, which is the best part of the game.

Only one of those games is good.

Such is life of nintencels

Gravity Rush 2 was its best exclusive by a mile. Was probably worth it for that alone. Was a shitty console otherwise

Still playable on PC. Bloodborne is 30fps on the ps4 so there isn't much difference

Attached: 1550327385139.jpg (1280x1110, 304K)

Jackie Chan

Bloodborne and Persona 5

This piece of shit was the biggest waste of money I've ever made
It's a 400 dollar bloodborne machine, fuck sony I'm never buying your shit again

Framerate is one thing, but PS Now adds a ton of lag on top of the game. You can play Bloodborne but you can't play The Old Hunters and you're playing a much worse version of the game.

Bloodbourne
Spiderman
God of War
Horizon Zero Dawn
Wipeout

uncharted

All of this in 5+ years?

Switch is 2 years in and has about twice the amount of notable exclusives in comparison

>b-b-b-but nintendo

Cope

what exclusives does switch have? genuinely uninformed here, I don't care about nintendo games apart from metroid prime 4

I want to play school girls vs zombies but it's probably snoy'd.
Nevermind it's also on pc.

80% of switch "exclusive" games are wii u ports

nobody owns a wii u and they're still overpriced so

Literally bought one this week for spyro, shadow of the Colossus, P5, maybe gravity rush and who knows what else

Point is that if I had no gaming PC I'd be playing way more games on it.

So you shitpost about games you havent even played?

It is.

How to play a movie? Press play?

Becuase most games on Playstation and Xbox are multiplats.
Most games on Switch are Nintendos own IPs.

I have no problem finding games to play

Attached: ps4.jpg (1658x535, 426K)

Bloodborne and Gravity Rush 2 single handedly justified it for me
Several hundred hours of gameplay right there

Idort here with PS4 Pro, Switch, Xbox One X, and gaming PC.

The ideal combination of consoles is Xbox One X, Switch, and gaming PC. Most PS4 games are now ported to one of those platforms and will almost always run BETTER than the PS4 version. The only games that are exceptions generally aren't worth playing anyways.

My PS4 is basically a Kingdom Hearts machine, with very rare Tetris now and again. My Xbox is my main gaming platform with Switch and PC handling niche stuff.

These threads are retarded
You buy a PS4 for mutliplats, not exclusives
Nobody buys a console for exclusives, unless they are Nintendo consoles

>two multiplats
>can play bloodborne on PSnow

>he plays Kingdom hearts
All opinions discarded

>Most PS4 games are now ported to one of those platforms and will almost always run BETTER than the PS4 version.
What games are on Xbox but not PC?

MLB the show 19

KH2FM is an amazing action game, and it's only 60fps on PS4.
RDR2, KH3.

You have to pay for PSnow and its only available in a few countries

I watched some of them on youtube, but I prefer netflix movies

The difference between PS4 Pro and Xbone X performance in those games is marginal.

I'm sorry, what
RDR2 is a full fucking 4K on Xbox.
It's HALF resolution on PS4.

t. onions milk, sandwiches with hummus and a yearly subscription of BLACKED

both versions still run at sub30fps. if the framerate were doubled that'd be worth writing home about, but checkerboard vs native ain't.

You're absolutely retarded if you think there's no difference between 1920x2160 and 3840x2160

There isn't no difference, but the difference is marginal. More games > a slightly sharper image

imagine being poor and thinking buying a console is a big deal

This plus analog aiming make it so I would rather just wait for a PC port instead of having a subpar experience now. Both console versions feel like a waste of a game regardless of what resolution they run in.

youtube.com/watch?v=Mzi_Na-_bkk

Red Dead Redemption 2 was a unique experience.
Dreams looks pretty good but its a niche game.

Horizon sucks lol

nice shitposts, how come both reviewer and user scored for TLOU is that high if it's a movie?
I played it, it has solid and FUN gameplay. satisfying gameplay.
if you're not into games with story conveyed in cutscenes it's cool and all, but please don't shit up this board.

Pathetic

How do you deal with your autism?

I didn't know there was a BR tetris for PC...

The first video game was a sports game, tennis, i e, pong.

there is that existed long before tetris99 with a very active playerbase but as usual you casual shitters never know about something until nintendo presents it to you

I have a ps4 and a switch. I use the ps4 mostly for single player AAA open world titles and fighting games/multiplats that run better and are move active on it.
I have my switch for smash and 1st party nintendo shit, couple of good indies and ports that are legitimately comfortable and fun to play in handheld.

Off the top of my head, games that made the ps4 worth getting for me, I keep coming back to just to mess around in them
>RDR2
>Spiderman
>GoW
>Horizon
>JC4
>Arkham Knight
>Second Son
Probably outing myself as a huge casual
>SC6, Naruto Storm 4 generations, DBZF, JumpForce and Gundam Versus
These just cause my friends and I like these kinds of games and being able to go at it with each other is still fun. Honestly being a casual you probably enjoy and get the most out of the medium cause you play and enjoy games you like for what they are and you aren’t console-waring like some screeching autist on the internet.

ok?

As far as i can tell the first game was Space War, which was made for military radar rigs

I'm a huge casual too and none of these games stand out. They're like 6/10 at best.

lol touchy. I don't want to play Tetris on my PC anyway

imagine playing tetris without a keyboard

Based

Bloodborne
Gravity Rush series
NieR Automata doesn't run like shit
Spiderman
God of War
SotC
The Last Guardian
MH World was available a year earlier than PC
Furi released for free on PS4
Hellblade was a timed exclusive
Kingdom Hearts series
Persona 5 and 5R
And if you don't own a PC, you can literally play like 98% of PC games.

bloodborne
persona 5

hopefully epic can strike those off the list of exclusives too

When will prices drop?

>Last of us is a videogame
I'm not sure It works that way

I know, never said they were 10/10 goty amazing. I like going back to them cause even if I did all there is to do in the game and my character is an overpowered beast, I still have a lot of fun going back to those games and just fucking around in them just for the hell of it. And well the fighting games are fun, cause who doesn’t have fun shit talking the person on the couch next to you while you’re going at it for a few rounds. It’s all subjective anyway, to each their own.

>movies
Both games have a solid gameplay
You would have known that if you ever played them before shitposting about games you never played

I'm glad you had fun with them. I didn't expect a handful of 10/10 games, you know? I just hoped there would be this one game that stands out, that great game that's worth buying the console for and even calling it [insert here] machine. I've had this experience in the last gen with The Last of Us and I was hoping for something like that, maybe even from the same dev. But it's not looking that way. This generation is underwhelming, to say the least.

>On PC
Depends on what region you are on. Also
>720p
>input lag (a lot of people have trouble fighting many of the bosses as a result)
>no DLC (which is a massive and excellent expansion on the game)
I still don't understand why people have difficulty getting a dirt cheap deal for a 6 year old console. Sucks being poor I guess.

You asked for games that justify purchasing a PS4. You did NOT ask for games that justify purchasing a PS4 when you already own another gaming system (in this case, an expensive PC).

lol these nintendolets trying to use their own life styles as insults.. hows that carboard montage going you child?

you have a PC for multiplats and console for exclusives you fucking dumb nigger

Why does everybody call GoW an over the shoulder walking sim? Have they never played any of the combat or puzzles?

>And now we wait for the inevitable >t-they're all shit!! reply

I don't get to play that much vidya these days.
My list:

> GoW
> Horizon: Zero Dawn
> Uncharted 4 (I actually regret this purchase as I can't bring myself to finish this borefest. Only Uncharted 2 was any good).
> Infamous: Second Son
> Bloodborne
> Rayman Legacies
> Dark Souls 3
> MK: XL
> Doom
> MLB the Show '16
> MLB the Show '19
> NHL 2k19
> Resident Evil 7
> Dishonored 2
> Call of Duty Black Ops 3

Overall I am very satisfied with my purchase.

> Spends $2000 on gaming hardware when you could have just spent $450 if you bought the PS4 on release + an extra controller to play the exact same games.
> Calls someone else a dumb nigger.

That's not how it works.

>Yea Forums
>playing games before shitposting about them

I don't know if you're looking for exclusives. If that's the case then buy a Nintendo Switch, where Nintendo still clings to their exclusive first-party title business model.

If you're a gaming publisher, you want your game to reach as many customers as possible, so you'll make it a cross-platform game. That is simple economics. I'm not sure why so many people are hell bent on "muh exclusives." Buy a system that you like and you'll have access to 99% of the same games as the other ones, with Nintendo being the outlier.

Anyway, if none of the games listed in this thread so far really caught your attention as being a fantastic game, then you are most likely growing out of the hobby.

Because the people that tout shit like "movie games" think every sony exclusive is made by quantic dream

rent free

I got one with my phone deal for a bit more a month lmao
Persona5 Royal unfortunately

>Can't make an argument about prices without having to lie about prices.
If you want to actually get a point across, you would be better off not exaggerating.

If you actually bought your own PC hardware instead of using your parents money, you'd recognize how ridiculously expensive your hobby is.

That's not including the fact that it will take you about an hour to put it together and another 6-8 hours to install the OS and baseline software.

> Being this retarded.
> A PC is only a GPU.
> Muh false equivalencies.

I can tell that you, too, haven't attempted to buy electronics ever in your life.

The 50" plasma sitting in my living room that I bought for $1500 as a high-end model in 2009 probably would only cost a couple hundred now. Only problem is that A) they don't make them anymore and B) even if they did, only the new model would be available in retail that would still cost close to $1500.

Similarly, the PC equivalent of the GPU on the PS4 isn't sold in retail anymore. If you like putting together computers with used hardware then good on you. I'm sure I could also find a used PS4 somewhere on the internet for $50 if I looked hard enough, and I'm sure I could find my model plasma TV for a similar price.

When the PS4 was released, the equivalent GPU didn't retail for $80, it was closer to about $250. That doesn't include the case, motherboard, RAM, CPU, HDD, monitor, keyboard, mouse, speakers, and gamepad. Throw in shipping + tax and you're easily approaching the $1200-1500 I quoted. Plus literally a whole day of work to get the thing running. Bonus is that because you cheaped out on the video card you'll have to buy a new one in about 2-3 years to get "muh 60fps" because most PC games are poorly optimized console ports.

There's no reason to spend money on a gaming PC unless you like RTS games or you're a graphics autist. I hope you enjoyed the purchase your parents bought for you.

Shut the fuck up retard

Attached: kys.png (1031x556, 98K)

I have one. It's basically the PS3 again in that is has less than a handful of exclusives worth playing.

I have it basically just for spiderman and bloodborne, and console exclusives (just 3) - kingdom hearts 3, FF type 0, and RDR2.

The rest is garbage like GoW, Horizon, Uncharted other nuSony movie trash. I won't be buying sony shit in the future. It's sad because the PS1 and 2 are some of (if the ultimate) the greatest consoles ever.

You can spend about 1000 dollars right now and get a pc that will last you for multiple generations.

heres mine. i also have a switch so fuck off with console war shit.

So much wrong in this statement.

Attached: Lobster.jpg (598x600, 210K)

>all those ports and multiplats
this gen sucks, I find it hilarious that a huge part of it are shitty HD remakes, ports and collections. Just goes to show how much better the ps2/gamecube era was.

I bought it for RDR2 but regretted it. Piece of shit of a ''game''. Zero substance regarding interesting interaction with the gameworld.
Bloodborne was alright but after having played a million Souls games prior, it was definitely more of the same. Also didn't appreciate having to actually pay for online.
Now I play games that are likely too taxing for my aging PC (RE2 and Sekiro) and/or are on a sale (Titanfall 2, Witness).
Still yet to complete Last Guardian. First impressions left me entirely indifferent. It's very obviously a PS3 game that was bruteforced to work on better hardware because whatever systems it's got built under the hood were too much to perform well on said platform.

i agree. i got most of them cheap though and they were shit i missed when it first came out

Bayonetta 2 has more cutscenes than TLOU, and the game is great on Grounded.

Unironically no.

Bloodborne is the only one worth getting the console for. Maybe P5 if you don't already own the system, and its already perfectly playable on PC (same scenario as BotW for Switch). TLOU is garbage and also on PS3. God of War seems good, but its not a console seller.

You are possibly the most potent brainlet I've seen on this board. Consider suicide

TLOU is one big cutscene. Walking around doing nothing but hearing people talk and endless scripted events are just cutscenes where you can move the camera.

I have all except xbone. That thing is a piece of shit even worse than the ps4 which is saying a lot. I do have an og xbox and 360 though.

Seriously, can anyone defend having an xbone if you have every other console and PC?

Nice picture of yourself

I have a friend's PS4 for a few months while he's out of the country and I'm genuinely curious what I should get for it. The only game I have is Bloodborne, I'm not sure if I should wait for the dlc to go on sale or just buy it at full price. I've no idea how often stuff goes on sale, are there seasonal sales like steam? I'm probably going to get Persona 5 after P5S turned out to be fucking nothing but other than that I can't think of anything else I want. I don't like movie games and they seem to be the bulk of exclusives, any suggestions?

Attached: 1449800282502.gif (520x450, 274K)

Bloodborne, P5 to an extent, God of War was good casual fun, dragon crown pro and otherwise multiplats my friends who only have ps4's play. Most multiplayer games are more populated on console than PC anyway so I don't mind. Not a poorfag though as the PS4 is chump change and was easily worth its cost for me.

Kind of a stupid question since there aren't many details about P5R yet but do you think I should wait or just buy base P5 now? It's only $20 and I've heard it's really good as is

just shove that thing into some dark corner and play on your PC

>excluding the gameplay
kek TLOU is one big oscar bait movie including the """""""gameplay"""""""

Royal was made so Persona/Atlus fanboys will double dip. Just play the base game if you've never played before. It's cheaper, there's no wait, and it's full of content as is.
