It's hard to really say because GU made a lot of changes when compared to MH3U (I had to skip MH4U). I haven't had too much time to play it so I'm only at 3 star village quest but the art/style system they have seems okay. Plays like your typical MH game so not much to say about it since I haven't hit the deviants which is the main draw of GU along with its retarded amount of content. Seriously, if you don't mind the arts/styles you need to get GU just for the content it has even if some of the MANDATORY GATHERING QUESTS kills progression early on

It's amazing, personally I don't parrot whatever Yea Forums says, so for me it's better than MH4U, might be my fav MH game so far.
