These GSG titles have gotten ever more simple as time progressed. Instead of using all the compute power we have to add more features and complexity everything just gets streamlined to a point there's no grit and depth to it anymore. You can find the same challenge in a board game for 12-year-olds.

but I downloaded the gog release for free
and thank fucking christ. I can't even see this improving much with dlc
maybe if we're lucky it'll get a mod like kaiserreich that makes the game fun in spite of how shallow it is, but I think that's pretty unlikely
