One of my favorite game experiences of all time, but that's all I'll say cause Yea Forums can't handle people talking positively about it.

empty
boring
no story
not a zelda game
skyrim but with crossdressing

ahahaha xd you are so mad AHAHAHA LOL

I like what it tried to be but I don't think it's all there just yet. Too much circlejerking over the journey, not enough fleshing out the destinations. You can do both right and I don't think BotW accomplishes that with its shrines and divine beasts. Cooking and combat also need some reworking. But Nintendo is on to something here.

I like it. I'm not 14, so I was happy to see Zelda try new things after beating a dead formula for two and a half decades, and go back to its roots by making exploration a focus. Enemy variety was really bad though, and many weapons break way too fast. Also, fuck the rain.

This post is extremely low quality.

It was enjoyable. Although I wish it had 8 proper dungeons, the divine beats were meh Hyrule castle was cool

These. Also wished the story and exploration wouldn't be totally seperated. I get that they tried to distance themselves from having so many cutscenes, but I think tjey went a bit too far. Hopefully they find a golden balance for the next one.

I don't care what anyone says, but enemy level scaling and weapon breaking were incredibly bad ideas for this game. Those were my 2 main issues with it.

I love this new direction they brought to the series and hope they do more with it. I find the gameplay equal parts relaxing and fun. It's satisfying just to do simple things. I love the mechanic that lets you climb almost anything. My one request for a game in a similar vein to this would be a greater variety of enemies with even more challenge. It was great to see Nintendo lean more into the challenge this time around and I want to see them take it further.

I agree, but weapons breaking actually made me use them as disposables. Throwing a weapon before it breaks, then scrambling to find a replacement made for some frantic fun.

It's fun, it's main issues being it's too easy unless you impose restrictions on yourself(and the hard mode literally just makes the game more tedious and nothing else) and the divine beasts sucking ass as dungeons.

the main thing a sequel needs is more combat variety and better dungeons, and someway to balance dungeon items being useful but not overpowered

trash wont even play it taking a shit

The majority of posters here seem to agree that it's "good, but flawed". Not sure if that image applies here.

Better than Skyrim.

OoT was the only other LoZ have I've actually played start to finish. Comparing it to that. Huge fukin disappointment. The exploration with the wide open map and hyrul castle were the only thing I actually enjoyed for more than 5 minutes.
Even then the guardians are easy to OP so they kinda ruined it.
lack of variety in the enemies, metal weapons all break like they're made of wood
No dungeons, just glorified puzzles that are somewhat repetitive.
That master sword is only useful in the castle.
The first half of the Gannon fight was basically a copy and paste of the other three four beast bosses. The second part of the fight I thought was gonna be dope but turned into hey don't stand in front of him and shoot these spots. When I tell you too.
It was a fun play through. But if I had know how much of a let down it would be I wouldn't have wasted my money on it

I think it's pretty eric

I like it
