My computer is running 64bit , (Specifically Windows 10 Enterprise N) , Xbox360 Controller , GTX1060 , Ryzen 1600X. Game is installed on a Seagate Barracuda. Additionally , 16gb of ram.

My first suspicion was Enterprise N. It caused some media related problems during cutscenes when I ran Darksiders 1 , causing similar crashing. Though switching windows versions is tedious so that is on hold for now. I should also mention that I do manage to get into the loading screen , it's not simply a failure to get the game started.

DMC1 can be emulated (USA ver or you get to play in permanent slow-mo PAL vision), DMC3s non-remaster PC port is fucked up but there's a mod called Style Switcher that fixes up the port as well as adding optional tweaks like changing styles on the fly or letting you hold all guns at once.

Even in the 4 concept art Nero was sporting a pretty masculine jaw.

4 is a fine place to start. Most of the DMC games stories are self-contained so I'd just play them in whatever order you want. If you don't like 4 then you probably won't like the other games either.

I don't know what the general consensus is on this series, but 3 was a fucking blast. I played them all over a few weeks before V came out in a random order, and the gameplay in 3 was tight as hell and by the end I was getting SSS nonstop. It seemed pretty self aware which I love, and when I played V I realized it definitely was. It was just a good time. The others were alright, V got repetitive with the big tree, 2 wasn't very fun for whatever reason, and 4 was sick as hell besides Dante's levels for some reason. They were mostly just Nero's levels again. 1 was good.

I think the HD collection on PC requires SSE 4.1, which some older 64-bit CPUs don't support. Said CPUs can run DMC4 fine.

4 is unfinished but the gameplay was all done. Dante was supposed to get his own levels and bosses instead of running backwards through all the levels Nero just went through. To say that it's the second worst game is misleading though when it's more that simply the rest are better.

Bottom left is like ps2-edging on 3 tier emblem. Full colours and devoid of artistic style.
Looks like they fused second top right and bottom right.makes sense cause it meshes well with the absorbent amount of blue lens flare and bloom they throttled into the game.
But really does the emblem fit the game. It's 2019(lol) they have a really neat theme going on with the games menu and art direction. It would have never fit. I must say the artistic talent that went into this game is amazing. They really honestly did an amazing job at presenting the game.

Dante's character undergoes an evolution in his weapons. He loses rebellion to get DSD.
Instead of simply mirroring that with Vergil, I think it would be better to have him delve more into his human side after rejoining with V and fighting with a more human-style martial art.

Seeing Yamato be passed on again as a starter weapon to a child of Dante would be interesting because then you set up the potential dichotomy in personality between father and child. Imagine Dante struggling with a bookworm overachiever kid like Vergil.

Yeah of course, she wouldn't be able to wield it like him at her age/level. Nero couldn't either though and I'd still say he made an awesome attempt of it with his Devil Trigger.

I wouldn't even let her have it from the start. Let it be sealed by Vergil old-smurai oath style for most of the game like Nero's DT was the first time through. Have it unsealed for her in a moment of desperation and boom you've got a nice pass-down story. Hell it would probably given to Nero's son in DMC 7.

The whole point of Vergil's character is that he is unable to let go and so his growth is stunted compared to Dante who constantly evolves to beat his enemies. Him dropping Yamato "for good" would be the push he finally needs to have justification for beating Dante outright for once.

DMC5's story leaves a lot of loose ends to be tied up for new and interesting ways. I really hope Capcom does something interesting with it.

OP Here. So if you look at my previous responses I mentioned Enterprise N , and missing media files required to run cutscenes. I just installed the game after installing the media pack and the game runs. I can get to the menu screen but the moment I touch the analog stick the game crashes.
