Banished face-down cards can't be touched by anything but necroface. They're nameless, effectless, and effectively gone for good in most cases.

Basically, the meta revolves around insta-win combos. Being able to mill your deck with no other downsides was deemed too powerful.

The problem with Yugioh is there is no resource management. As long as you have cards in hand you can just keep going endlessly. Pot of Greed just made it easier to play out your deck until you found your wincon.

TER is only better because Instant Fusion exists so other decks can run it as removal and Link fodder. MER serves the same purpose but it stops hand traps instead.

She's from Link Vrains Pack 2. Link Vrains Pack 1 never came out outside of Japan, and its cards have been gradually scattered out over the course of various sets - we still don't have the main draw of LVP1, Needlefiber.
LVP2 is relatively recent, and has a lot of really fun Links that patch holes in a lot of fun decks. The Six Sam and Fire Fist Links are also really neat.

I really hope Konami gets to printing out the cards used by Howard X Miller from Yugioh GX. Winning by deck outs is fun, but that guy really took it to another level and I was disappointed at how his cards weren't real.

Bringing the world of YGO to life as a JRPG would be nuts.
I want to run a party of characters from different types and archetypes, travel around the world, meet the Monarchs, fight boss/signature monsters of each archetype, etc.
But with the sheer amount of archetypes that exist that would be nearly impossible
