Legit answer
Disgaea would be pretty neat
Capcom All-Stars Musou
Unironically a Halo Musou with both sides playable.
Digimon
Pokemon
Both have enough characters to make a pretty big roster (both playable characters and enemies)
Though I wish they would keep on making Pirate Warriors sequels, would like to see them improve the game more since they can just reuse the assets and keep adding more characters/costumes and adapt more One Piece stories.
How would you do pokemon?
Who would be the fodder, Unown maybe?
Megaman classic or X.
Came to post this. Halo Musou would be pretty amazing. I want to play as Cortana and hit one button and fucking hack myself into a covenant battle ship and destroy it and have it shit coins or points or whatever out all over the place and then the camera zooms in on her ass.
More Sengoku period musou please, SW4 was a dissapointment
>Get to play as meme characters like Spartan 1337 and Yapyap
I'd play it desu.
Xenoblade
Mario
Castlevania, easily.
dark souls
was it that disappointing
All i want is for another dw7empires
8e was such dumbed down piece of shit compared to 7e
Yes
One Punch Man, just make it more akin to EDF where each enemy you fight is a giant monster and make sure there's tons of variety (which is non existent in musou)
Not enough main characters.
Warhammer 40k
>Phase 1 is your traditionnal Turn-based strategy game
>Phase 2 game turns into a Musou where both armies are battling in real time
The matrix
Dissidia Final Fantasy
be more specific
I always wanted a game that could combine action with RTS, like the rts stuff from brutal legends but actually done well and with a bigger scale.
Kingdom Hearts
Compare these 2 openings, should get you an idea on how downhill they went with the story. They also removed some character interaction from 2 so no battle feels that intense except 'evil man trying to prove himself' campaign. Combat stays the same but with the matrix mode carried over from the 3rd game. Sure its great but the slow-mo mode runs out so fast so its only purpose is to do super musous. Also they removed character introductions so that sucked
warcraft and starcraft

Forgot vid
Halo.
It would be pretty fucking rad now that I think about it.
something like halo might be cool
Persona
Dark Souls but you play as the bosses fighting hordes of Hollows
Fucking "Nobunaga fanfic campaign" was absolute shit
I don't get the appeal of musous. Their combats really shallow and boring. I guess its for people who fantasize about being really strong but they can just play Skyrim.
I take you've never played Empires?
Star wars
Dota
Gozilla
That's actually not a bad idea.
No more
Hyrule warriors was cute
Fire Emblem i didnt really give a fuck about
KH3 hurt me
Persona actively pisses me off, i'm done with this trend
the appeal isnt to win. it's how you win. think the next evolution of beatemups, but with more depth. sure the game can be won by simply pounding the one combo over and over but to to complete all the objectives/side objectives and get a good grade require some fineness and skill. its definitely not a genre for everyone but it is fun if you like arcade-style games.
i dont even like musous but id play the shit out of a megaman crossover one if i could play as pandora
Doom
Actually has there ever been a shooter musou?
Zone of the Enders.
With ZoE2 moveset.
Theres been some characters with ranged weapons like guns and bows but their range is basically pointblank
that is supremely difficult to do, but i'm sure one day it will be possible.
why hasn't there been a musou rts game
>make it turn base for the RTS
>make the actual gameplay like a musou
So if you want you can 1v300 if your good enough
