How is the dpad. Is it tactile or is it mushy. I am literally spending over $100 finding the perfect dpad on a controller.

A bit more than a dual shock 4 I'd say. The d-pad however is leagues better in responsiveness and how it feels though. Also the most unique thing about the pad is being able to adjust sensitivity of d-pad manually.

I will say there is no mush to the d-pad and there is a slight tactile click to the d-pad when you push it down. It's not microswitch level in terms of clickiness, but it's not the terrible mush that is the dualshock 4 d-pad.

I got this one. I was expecting the 3DS clickyness but it's just a bigger Wiimote pad. It has worked for me and the things I wanted to try but it's hard to recommend.

since I'm a 09er I use a 360 pad to play SFIV, MvC3, and KOFXIII. Every other fighter I play stick, but with those games my muscle memory prevents me from using any other controller then the 360 pad.
