Joker is trying to keep a low profile at the start of the game and kind of resigned himself to this is way of the world, but once he awakens then he starts turning it around. P5R is even adding a scene near the start of the game where Joker ends up in the exact same situation with the new girl being harassed and he still steps again despite getting massively burned last time.

I think it’s fair to say the protagonist sort of go through the same development as the games main theme, Door-kun is basically patient zero of Apathy syndrome but becomes the most embracing of life in the end, Yu is the most willing to hide from the truth but ends up chasing after it regardless of consequences by the end, and Joker is really careless and slothful but becomes much more rebellious and proactive.

And he literally doesn't fuck and still does the impossible over and over because his friends and everyone loves the shit out of him and believes in him. He is the strongest imaginable on raw Chad energy.

The anime industry is full of underpaid workers and freelance artists with no control. I've heard horror stories of some animators doing 55 hr to 60 hr shifts with no rest.

One of my personal favorite SMT's, plot and characters are fun and engaging, the gameplay is piss easy but it's fast and stuff like loyalty and MAG keeps things fresh, the setting is top notch. Even if you're not that into it, it's probably one of the shortest SMT games.
I also like the dub quite a bit.
