This game's graphics looked amazing to me when it first came out.

those areas in the inverted castle in SotN that have that nice music

It was my favourite place to go when playing.

San Andreas countryside and small towns
Proper comfy
Wish there was more to do there

I remember masterbating to Fox McCloud in this game. So cute and fluffy.

this whole fucking game was so god damn cozy, I've got to replay it someday

You were a lust penis

It was one of the prettiest games at its release.

there's no way it looked this bad;
I played samp not that long ago (in 2012 maybe?), and it looked just fine

also here.

1 gen, from this to that.

The entirety of Far Cry 5. Sometimes I drive around aimlessly, just enjoying the countryside. I also love finding secluded cabins/lakes around dusk/sunrise.

I also imagine Jess Black and the Deputy sharing romantic evenings together in seclusion.

It does
It aged like rotten goat milk

that dinosaur looks pissed off and not comfy at all

A rainy assassin's creed day baby

Attached: 20190420012331.jpg (1920x1080, 409K)

everything was amazing in 2001-2003. I feel sorry for zoomers who never had their eyes soaked in the joy of getting past the fat polygon era.

Dobuita, Shenmue 1. Especially on snowy days

>pick my GC a couple of hours ago
>shit still works, the memory card still didnt died and the clock didnt reset
Fucking Nintendium.
That area was great as some other areas of the game, but I cant bother to finish that game due to test of fear.

The Sky Garden and the Ghost Town are my favorite areas in Yume Nikki.
Sky Garden's atmosphere and Ghost Town's generate an eerie sense of peace.

Some trails and dirtbike tracks with dirt ramps would have been a fun addition.

Cassardis was nice too. Running around there in the early morning. Aw yiss.

Satoral Marsh and Colony 9 at night in Xenoblade are maximum cozy.

I loved walking through both of those areas at night, I kept them in perpetual darkness. I have yet to find a game since that had that level of cozy.

Another would be zora's domain at night in breath of the wild.
>that glow on mipha's statue
Goddamn I wish I coulda saved her.

nice

FF9 had a lot of comfy locations. Music helped too

For some reason, the overworld in Lego Indiana Jones 2 was peak comfy for me. Can't rightly say why.

Comfiest kingdom hearts world imo

Zoomers will never know the joy of being a kid in the era of super bright and colourful platformers.

youtube.com/watch?v=Lz57mGxXncE

>those zoomer levels
To this day I love the roar of the zoomer as you kick it into overdrive. My autistic ass wants to build a game where you drive the zoomer around.

Clock Town day 1, home.

>To this day I love the roar of the zoomer as you kick it into overdrive
hell yes user.
with this music of course: youtube.com/watch?v=wpWcT6hDRoY&list=PLF296898380E24516&index=37
the single-seater hoverbikes in 2 just weren't the same.

>not traverse town
Traverse Town was cozy incarnate. I loved going back there to see leon and the gang after tearing up some heartless. KH3 would've been phenomenally better with a hub world to return to. They could've done it with traverse town, but they blew it. Hell why were they even looking at the old computer in the first place, it went nowhere.

Inside the moon. Home...

I still think it looks pretty nice desu.

Fields of Fum, Shella, and Leuda are also worth mentioning.

Fuck I can't wait for the remaster.
I'll finally be able to play multiplayer again.

Hope to see you on the roads, bro!

Besaid.. home. At least until the al bhed fucked everything up.

No one's gonna give you the recognition you deserve, but I see you.

Top tier choice my friend

Loved learning to grind every inch of that town

Attached: 1554507664015.jpg (966x1013, 65K)

I like it for mostly the music

Attached: big_1422715716_image.jpg (1280x576, 104K)

Jesus I miss those games

>cooling towers in view
that's not comfy at all

This shit right here man, this is the fucking best. The day and night cycle really helped too.

What game is that?

Starfox Adventures

I never had a Dreamcast, so I played Shenmue for the first time in 2010. However, it is one of those games you can picture yourself playing as a kid, in a cozy winter afternoon, and get nostalgic. It takes you right back to the late 90's.
The day/night transition music, man...

I loved the Observatory from Pandora's Tower

Attached: Observatory.jpg (1280x720, 112K)

I have to say GameCube games on Dolphin with stereoscopic 3D is the best 3D ive seen the colors just lend themselves to looking amazing in 3d

I know it's not gonna be the same, but I can't wait for Shenmue 3.

youtube.com/watch?v=5IWGD4U8_d8
I have a hard time slowing down and just appreciating areas in games anymore, but basically all of Hohokum gave me that feeling. Just floating around seeing people and places to a chill soundtrack. I never would have played it if I hadn't gotten it for "free", but it was one of the best surprises to come out of Playstation plus.

Shenmue may not be in my top 10 games, but it is the most influential game I ever played. It set the bar so fucking high for me, at least in immersion that attention to detail that I would always look for in games.
>Getting stuck in that part of the game where you have to sneak past the guards
My fucking fattube TV was so dark, it was nearly impossible to see. Sometimes it would take me an entire month to get past it (in game), so I would miss most of the Christmas time.

Getting to this when I finally got to playing Generations Ultimate hit me like a ton of bricks. I still remember picking up Portable 2 on recommendation from some anons on here. Good times, possibly my favorite hub (potable 3rd is also pretty comfy).

...m8 Montana's a real place
