Omega Force has managed to make some really good Musous in recent history as well as some very unorthadox ones.
Attack on Titan was great, Hyrule Warriors was great. Dragon Quest Heroes 2 was great.

So it's like they started there and still have strong ties, but they aren't a first party nintendo dev and release stuff elsewhere if they feel like it

I played Golden, and it has substantial shit. Marie isn't really that much worse than say, Yukiko. The constant insistance that she's important to the plot it's pretty annoying, but overall she's not that bad, the fact that she's probably the best boss in the game helps too.
