I have a solid PC (i7, GTX 980) but this game destroys my framerate when things get going. It has a good artstyle and looks nice but it shouldn't be as graphically taxing as it is. When I'm fighting a boss in the Depths, I can drop to 40fps.

Lockboxes are nice for the free item but to me its worthless to have more than one key. I have never seen a rare from a lockbox, I also do not print those keys since they don't seem worth printing. I don't see why I should since stacking keys won't make more boxes spawn or guarantee uncommons or rares after a reasonable amount. I have a better chance of getting red items from small chests and shrines or getting aspects from elites.

I don't really go by items per stage, just time. I try to get through the first stage in 5~ minutes, second in 4. I used to think going for the free preon accumulator in the third stage was dumb, but it's honestly working out for me. I go through the first two stages pretty quickly, spend a minute or two extra in the third and then grind from then on. You pretty much have to get every single item once you start looping, you can forget about rushing to the next stage. By that point you're probably fast enough to move through the map easily, there's no benefit to rushing the teleporter and rapidly increasing the difficulty.

i'm not sure if you realize how hard it is to make a game, but just because the game's been out for a month doesn't mean it needs to be finished, they could have added another character but bug fixing before release takes a lot of time, the game sold well but it's a tiny ass team.

It's unity, Hopoo's first 3d game, and made by incompetent devs. There's no reason the game should have any frame drops given how it looks and how small the levels are. I've even turned off corpses, shadows, and turned off SSAO and still get drops to 30fps after the second loop. It's absurd.

Huntress need omni-directional sprinting or at least the ability to sprint sideways

The crabs will run away when you get close enough. When you start a new game, make sure you get Titanic Plains.

Reset if first loop isn't titanic plains, kill things that aren't crabs and never pick up Tesla. Primordial cube with fuel cells, 2 cubes as MUL-T which is even easier. Have fun, that was my last item unlock.

ricochet shot is pretty much the only way we're gonna have sniper be viable in this game. From how the skills are laid out currently (m1 is 4 shots that need to be reloaded after firing, m2 is scope in for increased accuracy, shift is iframe backflip, R is the same drone as the first game) I would put the ricochet shot on the final shot of the m1, directly before the reload. That way attack speed is still good on sniper so you can get to the ricochet shot sooner.

Not really, I replayed the first one recently, RoR1 have way more bullshit ways to die than RoR2 does (mostly because of a lack of content but also because 2D make everything a clusterfuck way more quickly)
Hell, at least RoR2 don't spawn enemies right on top of you.

All bosses have passive healing. It doesnt matter, every variant has it. Overloading, Blazing, Glacial, and Regular all can passively heal. You probably dont notice it because you insta kill bosses, but it exists.
