Crash melodies from the original developer were catchy across the board but you can't escape the gritty 90s-era sound that comes with the instruments being synth and samples. Unless you're into that sort of audio aesthetic, you can't beat the sound of real instrument performances.
Wrath of Cortex was forgettable and Nitro Kart was drowned out due to awful audio balancing so Twinsanity was the first Crash game to use high quality audio. Twinsanity made itself memorable at a conceptual level but about half the tracks just kind of blend together while the rest are still bangers.
