do you have the goblin tinkerer? Expert gives more money, you can either get some movement accessories and learn to dodge their attacks and go Menacing (damage) reforges, or set up campfire, heart lantern, pool of honey, and stack Warding (defense) reforges
Armored Cavefish will let you craft the Endurance potion which reduces damage by 10%. You can make a Corruption world and go get the Worm Scarf (expert only) to reduce damage by 17% too

Get yourself the corrupt/crimson armor and fight queen bee on the surface with a minishark. Make sure to make some space for dodging too, you'll eventually see she's pretty easy like that

Terraria doesn't have as big of a modding scene as it deserves unfortunately. But Thorium is pretty good, avoid Calamity

When I fought Skeletron on expert I used the best potions I could get and ranged weapons and used honey and heart lanterns and even if you manage to fail using all that you can put the nurse next to your arena oh yeah making an flat arena is super important alongside mobility I for one used EOC shield for quick dodging and that ability stays useful for a long time

Try making walls more than one block thick. It adds a lot to a design. I usually make mine 3 blocks thick and have the middle layer hollow. Sometimes adding lighting within the walls bordering a room can change the aesthetic as well.

its some pure bullshit, and i enjoyed it, till i got to hardmode, and the game started to suffer from some nasty bugs.
one i remember was laying down/building stuff, and was using like 2 or 3 items per 1 being used.
its been well over, what now? a year? 2? and, yeah, still not fixed
still remains a regrettable purchase
