What do I do Yea Forumsros? I know git gud is what I need to do, but the hill to overcome that seems steep like a mountain. Game is such a time sink and it takes so goddamn long to see any progress. Gold isn't good at all and the way you're saying it your firends aren't giving you shit for losing either, so don't sweat it. After you spend enough time playing you'll learn what works and what doesn't, but reading up on a guide or two to keep track of the meta won't hurt either.

Spend some time to watch a major League streamer that doesn't annoy you who is in high ELO. Look at what they do and why and then try to mimic that.

Oriana, Zyra.
Both mages.

Yeah it's still really popular. Not as big as it was a few years ago but still one of the most played games by a mile. It's gotten huge in China now too so it might actually be bigger than it's ever been but China doesn't release any data of their servers.

Zyra and Oriana both play like a ranged harass mage that tries to poke down in lane from a distance. Zyra sprouts up plants and shoots up vines and Oriana throws her balls at people to damage enemies or shield/buff movement speed on allies.

Both sexy, and Oriana fits that nice sweet spot of being both cute and hot.
Would it be worth playing League just for these two, or should I just stick to porn?

League is fun as long as you don't take it seriously. If you're starting out play support Zyra if you want to play one of those characters specifically. Support is probably the easiest role to not feed your ass off.

She's an archer specialized in slowing the fuck out of people with ice arrows and bringing a bit more utility than ranged damage dealers usually bring.
>Nami
A mix of healer and aggresive support, she has a spell that bounces off between allies and enemies that are standing together, healing allies and harming enemies, for example. Doesn't actually do a lot of damage by herself, but since she passively puts debuffs with spells because of her passive and has a ton of cc she can set up kills very nicely.
>Soraka
Pure healing, she's basically dedicated almost entirely to healing. Even her only damage is only really useful because it gives herself a heal if it hits. Also has a silence spell in an aoe that's particularly popular with assassins that love it when they try to do their usual "quick in and out" thing and find out after the "in" part they can't use any skills to get out.

Ashe sounds kinda fun, and Nami sounds like a blast. I don't care about killing enemies as much as making them suffer.

Personally Nami was one of my favorite supports before I quit this shistain of a game. Probably the only one of the "girly" supports I liked playing, precisely because you could be aggresive as fuck. Dominating the lane with this cute fishy girl was fun as hell. The only problem is when your adc isn't too invested or doesn't understand aggresion, because Nami isn't really gonna win a lot of duels by herself, she needs someone to actually bring in the damage and take advantage of how oppresive she can be.
