Depends on what you're looking for.
If you like playing turn based RPGs then you will find that the nep games play a lot like the other games you enjoy and the main difference is that the characters are all cute girls representing game consoles. If you don't like turn based RPGs then you may not enjoy them. Similarly, if you need a game that takes itself super seriously then look elsewhere. Nep games are comedies more than dramas.

They're alright, but very clearly low budget games. Asset reuse is really bad in rebirth games. V-II has far far less. Each game has unique bits to it's battle system so the games play similarly but none of them are exactly the same.
It's recommended to start with V-II for more standard Nep combat or V-IIR if you want to try something that's quite a bit different in how it operates.

What is there to explain? It's a fairly common trope for big syringes to represent doctor-like characters, especially cute nurses apparently. Don't think so, it's just a symbol.
