I'm honestly surprised nobody has done a serious retelling of the fanfics. Like, keep all that nonsense with Gordon's nonexistent brother and nephew, but just play out the story without the terrible grammar, syntax, etc.
Sure, a whole lot of the charm comes from the purposefully bad writing, but it'd be pretty entertaining all the same to see somebody tell the events with a fleshed out and coherent narrative.
