WOAH, this character is so fucking deep. This is such a new and inventive take on writing. Monika is the deepest of deep character who provokes deep thought. The innovation in DDLC's writing is new and fresh compared to the other visual novels that I most definitely played. Is she really the villain when she has deep motivations that are this deep? More games should commentate on the genre they are because it is compelling and new storytelling. The Is it past 10 minutes yet? No? DDLC is a lot like Undertale in that it is unlike any plot I read and that is compelling to me. They have deep characters who break the 4th wall with a deep twist. While games have dull and generic plots, these indies show just how much a unique twist can make a game so much more memorable and refreshing to experience.
