Almost everything about it is bad. Repetitive braindead combat, vomit-inducing "art", cringe voiceacting, generic plot. The only aspect of the game that has any merit whatsoever is the soundtrack.

Also not a big fan of the mannequin animations on a number of things but I guess it was a labor-saving choice and not a stylistic one.

Undertale isn't exactly a bastion of good character design, but they were far more interesting and memorable than the legion of horrid multicolored deviantart fursonas in Dust.

Most of the game was pretty mediocre in my experience but the story was so bad that it drove me up the wall towards the end. Being able to cheese whole areas by flying with the whirly attack was alright fun tho.

It's a cute game, but the tweened animation on everything other than the MC makes it look very inconsistent

Dodrill needs to make a Dust sequel. His other new IP didn't do that well.
He just needs to make it harder this time. The only tough part of Dust on hardest difficulty was falling into spikes and getting wombo-comboed because of the complete lack of invincibility frames.
