Why did I like playing through Final Fantasy Tactics, Final Fantasy Tactics Advance, Tactics Ogre, GBA Fire Emblems, X-Com, Shadowrun: Dragonfall but absolutely disliked Banner Saga? It felt like a solid TRPG in the making but ultimately failed to hook me either with gameplay, mechanics or story.
