stage builder is a lot tougher than i thought, fucking stage limit!! this is my first stage and i dont know how to work it.
anyone got any tips on how to use up less space?
should i just give up? i mean, it just looks like any ordinary vag unless i put Marie's head on, and i doint think ill be able to because of the stupid limit.

build limit is dependent on how many vertices a shape has rather than how big it is, so draw smart and only use outlines when you need to, since they can take up a lot of the limit

Wanna give you some props for the Prison Island stage. A friend and I just played on it some and that level owns. Even though its geometry is super simple the huge amount of space around the fighting platform as well as the height of the moving platforms makes for some pretty cool zones of confrontation. It does favor characters like Piranha Plant and K.Rool a bit much though, who can basically recover forever.

no, I have the DLC and get crashes in arenas with customs as well, there's a few issues with custom stages in arenas

When making an arena it's recommend not going past 4 minutes, or more than 3 stocks.

The most common used rule set is 3 minute 2 stock.

With 2 stock, it feels like people play to safe. With 3 stock people are given more chance to fuck around and make mistakes.
