Most of the character fights are simple enough, if not a little rough on the edges. Worst fights for me were any involving Haruka and Rin. Chainsaw and lightning attacks with more range than almost everyone else with Haruka. Rin's speed almost makes her more capable of escaping aerial raves than the others.

SK2's difficulty in general is wonky, a lot of things hit hard without much chance to punish. It's why drop attacks are such a meme for the game, it's by far the safest tactic to employ. Anyways, Yomi probably just had absurd damage output or something as she's still one of the strongest characters that can be controlled alongside Crimson Homura and grenade launcher Mirai.

Hibbers had her time in the sun in Burst. Funny thing about her is that she's supposed to be particularly proficient at espionage, not fighting, and her "switching sides" to Hebijo is the one time the series actually used that to any degree. I also argue against her existing for Yagyuu. On the contrary, her presence brings Yagyuu down as she's otherwise one of the coolest, most cutthroat Senrans but nope, MUH HIBARI. And yeah, it would be nice to see Kagan lead up to something that matters.

Actually back when Burst was first released a lot of people were drawn to the humanity behind the characters despite all the tiddylation. Problem was when Versus came around because, since it was meant to be a spin-off, it featured mostly flanderized tropes for the main girls so as to not mess up the continuity of the story. Then the Versus series became the main one and all the girls lost any semblance of character development. Hebijo girls were the onea who suffered from this the most.
