I never thought my favorite franchise would turn into Doraemon some day

The movies usually had this kind of reimagined stories with different set ups iirc, so it's no strange for the fans of the show. Which are all in their 30s, 40s... The show is pretty old now.

Well, asking the question just double confirm that you are indeed know nothing about the series.
It does have a continuity but most of the time they are self contained stories with doraemon gadget as the plot device
And then they have the long stories as well when they literally went fucking everywhere : outta space, back in time in stone age, dino age, starwars parodies, playing baseball, alien inavding earth, kingdom in the cloud, wizard shit, fantasy setting, hollow earth, travel to egypt, arabian nights, deep sea adventure.

They legit can make a mecha game and it still somewhat related to what they have done in the series, legit one episode is 2 of the boys build giant robots and be inside them to fight

honestly farming is probably the tamest shit imginable for the series, the only unbelievable thing is that nobita is willing to fucking work the farm since he is lazy as hell

I don't know a damn thing about Doraemon except it's apparently a robotic cat, but I've been playing Story of Seasons/Harvest Moon for nearly 20 years which means I'll most likely be getting this game regardless.

How the hell did a spin off get a crossover game

The main draw of doraemon is his gadgets since he is a robot from the future. So you you gonna see some of the mechanic or items that gonna "break" the game somewhat, his everywhere door is basically the teleport stone you can mine back in friend of mineral town. I have no doubt you can get a lot of automation and shit for the farm, and shit like giant crops as well

The game actually looks pretty good, but I don't want to play as that loser Nobita.

There is really no guide for it desu, since each episode is pretty much work out like a sitcom with doraemon gadget is the main pivotal to solve whatever problem rise up, and then often a humorous ending to teach nobita a lesson

So there is one episode when nobita complained about his unluckiness, so doraemon gave him a gun with 4 bullets : 3 red and 1 black, if you get the red one you gonna be super lucky for a day but if black it gonna be awful. So nobita as the chicken shit that he is trying to get other to shoot themselves first to get rid of the black so he can be sure of the red one, all 3 he offered end up getting the red, he got so angry he threw away the gun and a kid nearby pick up and shoot him with the black bullet. pic related is one of the scene in the episode

And if you want long feature films, they have 25 of them where the group go on adventure in many locations and settings from jurassic age to the future, from deep sea to hollow earth
