It's really not clicking for me at all, it feels like X 2.0. MK9 shits all over it, big buyer's remorse for 11 honestly and I only paid $43 for it.

Agreed. You can't even dash to finish a combo without breaking your controller. It's like it only registers half the time. And what's with the "fatal blow" shit anyway? They're much worse than xrays and they're unlimited when you're at low health. It's scrub friendly trash. The menus and gear interface is confusing and annoying too.

nobody gives a shit about this. They wanted a fighting game where they could rip each other to shreds with over the top brutality and gore. The entire reason the nontroversy exists is to deflect from their shitty microtransaction grindfest with "le gamers bad so we'll ignore complaints." If the trick fully works, you'll be seeing a lot more of this shit from other games in the future.

As an aside, did they REALLY add a mode where the AI Fights for you in towers? is the grind is so damned bad they just included their own farming bots?

I don't care about it either, but I still haven't bought the game and I don't think I will. It just doesn't look that fun compared to what else I could be playing, and I'm really not fond of how they've locked Shao Kahn behind pre-order. The same thing happened with MKX and Goro and the moment I didn't pre-order the game and it came out pretty much killed any chance that I would pick it up, because even if I wouldn't play those characters much I don't want to play the game knowing I have one less character in the roster just because I didn't pre-order it.

In the kustomize menu there is a bunch of premade variations. Two of them have a tournament symbol meaning those are the variations used in tournament mode (aka the ones you will use at locals) But for some fucking reason they arent the default variations on the characters, they are hidden in a bunch of menus
