The movement in DOOM 2016 is super sluggish. There are a ton of big arenas where you literally have no way to close the gap to get to an enemy you want to kill. Maybe this is by design to make you use the sniper-like weapons, but it's not particularly fun, and a significant stain on an otherwise mostly good game.
